What an extraordinary, delightful and virtuosic piece! Just wonderful, composed in the era of Paganini and Bel Canto. I am ashamed to say I had never heard of Bottesini until recently! His other works are just breathtaking and I have developed a whole new appreciation of the double base. I’m blown away by the beauty and energy of this performance! Bravi!
