I hope they make a movie about Marshal Bass Reeves, he was a remarkable person. You'd have to cast someone like Denzel, Isdris Elba, Morris Chestnut or someone with good acting experience to play him.

Exactly. I did not understand when they were making a lot of fuss about playing James Bond! I argued that African Americans in Hollywood have fine writers, directors and actors to be able to create their own trade mark and story line.. and create more jobs for their people... rather than crying over a white man story line that fits the British imperialism experience! When I stumbled upon Bass Reeves.. my prayers and intuition were answered..! We are able people. Lets watch Baas themed movies now..!

Yes certainly! However I think 2 or 3 have been made. They weren't big budget projects with big budget marketing. They need to make one with a big budget with Antoine Fugua directing

Blackwash tons of white characters in hollywood. Still dont have a decent bass movie or series. Its kind of disrespectful no black person has made his movie yet. Cry about no black heroes yet they are there if you bother to pick up a history book. Maybe Taylor Sherridan (yellowstone) will do the series one day... cause I dont see any black filmmakers picking up the torch.
