Good timing for someone that has never used a wah. Something a lot of guitarist neglect that has played with a wah for a long time.

How did you become a Dunlop artist ?
@officialgmusic3 жыл бұрын
@@Thomas.harding I contacted artists relations, submitted my past and current activity in the music industry. Show dates. Prior endorsements and so forth. It gets reviewed , then if approved you have endorsed artist status I’ve been with Dunlop for over 10 years now
@Thomas.harding3 жыл бұрын
@@officialgmusic do you get free pedals? What’s the deal ?
@officialgmusic3 жыл бұрын
@@Thomas.harding Having the expectation of getting free gear is the wrong mindframe to have. Nothing is given to you for free. It is up to the discretion of the company/artist relations rep if they wish to give you something for free. You placed in a certain tier .. and that will determine what you are eligible for as far as artist pricing. All of my endorsement tiers are level 1 or 2 .. most endorsees will begin at level 3 or just Artist compensation which is not much if you aren’t accepted into the client list

OP: you make an interesting comment about the sound bejng ugly. I'm sure you can appreciate, as a musician, that music can be pretty, or ugly, or anywhere in between. It depends what ideas the composer wants to communicate, or what feelings they're trying to evoke. That's the beauty of music, in all its forms; it's capable of provoking an immediate emotional response, whether that's positive or negative.
