a few years back I interned at revolution for a few months, nice to see all that lovely gear again. Would've been cool to be there for that session.

That sounds great Tyler! Revolution is a fantastic studio indeed, with lovely sounding live rooms and a great mic / gear collection :)

@Wave Alchemy, Ableton on iPad???? @00:19? Is it real?
@DavidBoura5 жыл бұрын
maybe just used as a secondary screen

The iPad in this instance is being used as a second screen (i.e controller) for BASSYNTH. I can find out the name of the app for you if you like? :)

@@wave-alchemy I would definitely like to know more about this! Cheers :)

@@pavlos4961 here on Windows 10 i use Spacedesk to project on my Android. There are quite a lot similar apps but this one works well. They give some lag on your second screen though.

David Boura Thanks. I use a Mac and just saw that the next OS version has a feature to use your iPad as a second screen, so this might be what they are using in the video (with a beta version of the next Mac OS).

I secretly and patiently have been hoping for tutorials about treatment. Especially for Drums until i hear these synths today, so for everything. Some kind of self fabricated infinite frustration, as this is not your job. (btw my comment is supposed to motivate you to launch THE series as soon as you read it)

Hi David, thanks for your message. We would love to create tutorials in the future, covering a range of topics. I can't promise anything just yet, but we do like the idea and we do get a lot of questions asking how we design our sounds. Feel free to list any other specific subjects (or go into more depth about the ones you asked about) that you'd like to see covered :)

@@wave-alchemy To be able to treat electronic synth drums like you did with your processed versions samples is a St Graal. As i said, hearing how you cooked all the different synths sounds here, a serious tutorial coming from you would be total perfection.
