I love it when snobs look down their nose at metal like “they’re just smashing away [theres no talent there]” Had a family friend tell me that.... he’s a former drummer, for what I don’t know. But it always boggles me the amount of talent metal musicians have and they won’t get the recognition until you take them out of this context.

Thank you. Transcriptions is how I learn most things. I practice the parts beforehand, but sometimes when time is short and I have to track something I use them as guidelines to remember the parts. It's very useful 😊
