This part was cinematic!! Bastien’s style is something else. He charges shit with a unique energy and focus. In my opinion, he’s one of the few to make double-flips look so good

i was 13 in 98 and went to woodward for two weeks. a week in i met this kid my age who skated like a pro, every day he'd come to my cabin and wake me up sayin "ben! wake up! lets go skate". that kid's name was bastien salabanzi. he taught me how to ollie over a spine and gave me his used 16 deck, i wish i still had it. i still skate and it stokes me out so much that he does too. the world has changed so much but skating is still the coolest shit ever
