His voice crack when he says "Cause I'm terrified" makes me want to hug him and tell him hes amazing and deserves the world.

I think maybe the reason Dan is so nervous here is that he can't move around - it's so small and intimate and light and it's much harder to distract himself from the fact that he's performing. I really like this version of the songs :))

How is Dan still terrified to play to a hundred of people when the band faces crowds of thousands now ! It shows how genuine they are I love them
@ThorsenBeatbox8 жыл бұрын
Sometimes it feels more terrified to showcase I front of hundred people where you can look them in THERE EYES and see their true expression. In big promoted is not the same for sure!
@dallanaquijada77988 жыл бұрын

TheyTasteSoGood I've seen other artists say that playing to few people is way scarier than playing to thousand, that it feels more intimidating...

a) this is so amazing. b) I've never seen a front man want to hide under a rock so badly. c) woody has a t-shirt with the picture they put in "the same photo of jeff goldblum every day" and that's amazing.

When all of your flaws and all of my flaws Are laid out one by one The wonderful part of the mess that we made We pick ourselves undone All of your flaws and all of my flaws They lie there hand in hand Ones we've inherited, ones that we learned They pass from man to man There's a hole in my soul I can't fill it, I can't fill it There's a hole in my soul Can you fill it? Can you fill it? You have always worn your flaws upon your sleeve And I have always buried them deep beneath the ground Dig them up; let's finish what we've started Dig them up, so nothing's left untouched All of your flaws and all of my flaws, When they have been exhumed We'll see that we need them to be who we are Without them we'd be doomed There's a hole in my soul I can't fill it, I can't fill it There's a hole in my soul Can you fill it? Can you fill it? You have always worn your flaws upon your sleeve And I have always buried them deep beneath the ground Dig them up; let's finish what we've started Dig them up, so nothing's left untouched Ooh Ooh When all of your flaws And all of my flaws are counted When all of your flaws And all of my flaws are counted You have always worn your flaws upon your sleeve And I have always buried them deep beneath the ground Dig them up. Let's finish what we've started Dig them up. So nothing's left untouched Ooh Ooh All of your flaws and all of my flaws Are laid out one by one Look at the wonderful mess that we made We pick ourselves undone€ I was left to my own devices Many days fell away with nothing to show And the walls kept tumbling down In the city that we love Grey clouds roll over the hills Bringing darkness from above But if you close your eyes Does it almost feel like Nothing changed at all? And if you close your eyes Does it almost feel like You've been here before? How am I gonna be an optimist about this? How am I gonna be an optimist about this? We were caught up and lost in all of our vices In your pose as the dust settles around us And the walls kept tumbling down In the city that we love Grey clouds roll over the hills Bringing darkness from above But if you close your eyes Does it almost feel like Nothing changed at all? And if you close your eyes Does it almost feel like You've been here before? How am I gonna be an optimist about this? How am I gonna be an optimist about this? Oh where do we begin? The rubble or our sins? Oh where do we begin? The rubble or our sins? And the walls kept tumbling down In the city that we love Grey clouds roll over the hills Bringing darkness from above But if you close your eyes Does it almost feel like Nothing changed at all? And if you close your eyes Does it almost feel like You've been here before? How am I gonna be an optimist about this? How am I gonna be an optimist about this?
