I love how Dan always gets so caught up into his music. You can really notice he started up a little shaken and nervous. He does this a lot when it’s just him and the piano (like during Oblivion on SNL). After like 30 to 40 seconds in he really gets comfortable and you just see it click in his head where he’s just like “I got this” and he gets crazy comfortable and confident and just truly sings his heart out and plays wonderfully. I love how genuine that is and that is one of the main reasons why he will remain one of my favorite artists. Wonderful job truly. ❤️

I agree! I like him a lot because he seems so human...he's sometimes nervous and a little awkward (like his dancing haha) but it makes him so much more relatable/plus he's insanely talented.

He stills not believe how far they are going. I mean, they didn't meant to became famous. But they deserve it so much
@s0lastsummer75 жыл бұрын
Same feeling. I've never seen anyone love the hell out of their own music quite so much. They all try to act like they do, and they're all quite convincing.... until you see someone like Dan perform and see what genuine heart thrown into music looks like. It's not every day you see someone feel their work on such a personal level. Love it.

How is that normal to be that talented?
@kevinemery95955 жыл бұрын
Part of it is talent, but a lot of it is just many thousands of hours playing at the piano, singing, and writing songs, dating back from a time long before he was ever famous... Nobody just wakes up one morning and can suddenly do what he does.

It's a quarter past midnight As we cut through the city Yeah, yeah, yeah, the streets are getting restless Good times, bad decisions Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's a quarter past midnight And the sirens are mending some hearts But we're the losers on our back seats Singing "Love Will Tear Us Apart" It's a quarter past midnight Still avoiding tomorrow It's a quarter past midnight But we're just getting going We keep on running Running through a red light Like we're trying to burn the night away Away-way, oh, away-way, oh This is my favorite part oh Help me piece it all together, darling Before it falls apart oh Help me piece it all together It's a quarter past midnight And the speakers are blowing Yeah, yeah, we want the bodies on the billboards Not the lives underneath them Yeah, yeah, yeah, and now we're crawling up the walls again And it's a quarter past twelve And you said we'd leave this place in dust And fall from heaven straight through hell We never know what we have We never knew what we had We keep on running Running through a red light Like we're trying to burn the night away Away-way, oh, away-way, oh Why are we always chasing after something Like we trying to throw our lives away? Away-way, oh, away-way, oh This is my favorite part oh Help me piece it all together, darling Before it falls apart oh Help me piece it all together It's a quarter past midnight And the secrets are flowing Our lips are getting looser I don't know what I'm saying We never knew what we had I never know what I've had We keep on running Running through a red light Like we're trying to burn the night away Away-way, oh, away-way, oh Why are we always chasing after something Like we trying to throw our lives away? Away-way, oh, away-way, oh This is my favorite part so Help me piece it all together, darling Before it falls apart Help me piece it all together
