I really enjoyed this video. Definitely, out of the norm, but I like how it satirizes the typical depiction of love, as this idea. When in reality, love and acts of affection are weird freaking concepts, looking at them objectively. Like when the bodybuilder, guy was dancing, it's just like mating rituals. I like how this points out, as a species, we have become so accustomed to people kissing and embracing, as the definition of love. But, to other animals or extraterrestrials it would be just another mating ritual. It would be an alien concept. Maybe that's the point? That no matter who you are, the idea of striving to find love, as romanticized by society, tears us apart to find that one true love, when really we are just a bunch of animals trying to reproduce like science has embedded in us.

I FINALLY UNDERSTOOD IT. So this describes a couple hiding their flaws from each other (Hence the Flaws video turned to an artwork). Perhaps originally they were fine, but they tried to change once an argument occured. They actively morphed themselves to suit the other's tastes, but repeatedly failed and changed again and again (Hence the morph of looks, and the disappointed expressions). Since they only loved an imaginary version of their partner, only loving perfection and not embracing both of their flaws, they were meant to be torn apart. For remedial, they indulged into sex and lust, which was only a temporary solution. Finally they broke up. But they were "out of sight but not out of their minds", so they tried to come together again, repeating the same cycle. It felt as if they were being thrown around and it hurts like hell.

It's not like Bastille directly came up with the video or anything, it was probably more a blame on the casting person/ director. Bastille wasn't even in the video except for the small part with the TV, and they probably just took that from a different video
