The beauty of it is that the blade length is below 90 mm, which makes it street legal in my country. I have a similar knife, Boker Trigonaut. Very handy.

Just ordered the stonewashed version of the Foreigner yesterday, and it's currently on its way! Wharncliffe blades serve extremely well as EDC and/or self-defense blades! Nice video.

This is such a nice knife. I'm the fence! It's in my shopping cart, would you recommend it? I was looking at the Yojimob or Ronin 2 as well, but I LOVE Bastinelli. With the holiday sales I already grabbed a Mako compact in m390 and a mako folder. I just don't know how mad the wife will be at me... hahaha

What do you think of this one up against the LionSteel H1 Skinner M390?

That would certainly depend upon what you're using it for. This Bastinelli is what I would deem an EDC/Tactical, while the excellent Lionsteel is more in line with outdoor woodcraft and hunting. Also as far as the ergoes go it would be hard to beat the Bastinelli... 🗡️👊🗡️

@@OGBladeReviews I think you state in this video at one point (when holding the knife vertically, or thereabouts) that sharpening the M390 steel would ruin the edge or ruin the blade. What did you mean by that?

In your opinion as an tactical knife do you think this micarta handle for the foreigner is reliable and wont break off in combat ? Asking respectfully not sarcastically.

Micarta is a tough material and the tanng goes well up underneath the handle to almost mirror or it so there's not much handle material suspended over the steel tang. It's a short blade so it isn't like you're going to be dueling, blade on blade. I can understand your concern but I think all of Bastinelli blades are meant to be used in last.
