I said it from the beginning... Jax is just Miike 2.0... it's just a matter of time until it becomes more and more blatantly obvious to everyone else. The "Friend of the Summoners" facade he started with is wearing off, and the dickface arrogance he continues to show us is more common already. Again, only a matter of time before he isn't friendly at all anymore. He's a Forum pro-Kabam mod that is ACTUALLY on the team. His post was in poor taste. It was unneeded and close-minded. He doubled down in the forums, so we know it wasn't a joke. It was barely tongue-in-cheek... it was more of a hate post to please the Kabam fans.

Even if this was a joke (which it wasn't), the way it is written, shows arrogance. We re not idiots, we re not illiterate, heck, I had alliance mates with 5 degrees, a neurosurgeon, lawyers and so on, people that can tell when a stupid game is bad and their employees incompetent. People that actually contribute to the society and make our lives better, the exact opposite of a company that only cares about how to manipulate its customers and empty their wallets, without making a single step to its purpose, that is, entertainment, by not fixing their game and relying on stupid tricks, like unfavorable AI and "bugged" unit drop rates in arena crystals.

What really amazed me was that Grounded Wisdom a) disagreed with Kabam; and b) came across as quite reasonable (at least first of all). Has someone hijacked his account? lol

If Kabam had a better track record with fixing issues and treating the player base way better then this would’ve been a nonissue- however, they’ve never really been one to read the room or have good taste with handling things. People have been out of patience for years

some people actually do just suck at bgs tho, like in victory track i see people drafting straight up badly or just messing up pretty simple matchups. also some choices of champs in their deck is also kinda ew not saying this post isnt toxic but its also kinda true

What skill has to do with an account that is larger than you has nothing to do with my skill level in mostly nuke meta. Kabam is completely out of touch than they gate rare pieces in GC which is hard to reach for a moderate account very stressful in the final days to break into GC.

The ingame post was just rude and didn't need to be posted in the game, save that kind of "joking" for the discord or forums. I don't like BG anyways but feel forced to do a bare minimum to boost my relic roster

I get that it was all meant as a joke. But getting told to essentially ‘get good’ with the matchmaking as currently is, is a little annoying. I’m stuck before even getting to GC this season. My deck consist of 20/30 champs at six star r4, or 7 star r1. Basically everyone I come against has less than 5 champs that low. If any at all. I’m definitely not good enough at battlegrounds to make up that gap with any sort of consistency to be at a 50% win rate or better.

Probably one of the better posts I've read on this. I've taken on more accounts with over 5 mil rosters and well over 20k prestige this weekend than I can remember. One guy in particular today was 7 mil with 24k, that's better than the top KZbin players accounts. How did I get promoted to this and this guy not get promoted out.

My biggest issue with it is it served no purpose. Battlegrounds have been out for too long for this to be really be relevant so it was most likely just going to annoy more people than it would entertain. So why do it? It was just stupid and unnecessary.

I think Kabam was going for drama. Because Kabam NEEDS for this message to get out. And drama will help draw attention and scrutiny on the post. It's posted in the frickin game in a brand new section for news. Feathers are ruffled, Kabam Jax takes an "L", but the message gets out. The message?: Battlegrounds is different than the rest of MCOC, and you don't have to win to be successful in it or to feel good about it. You can lose and still feel proud, still feel accomplished. They need to get players to believe this. Because Battlegrounds is a terrible fit for MCOC. MCOC is a pride and accomplishment simulator, that people use to feel good. And Battlegrounds has been making players feel shame/frustration and failure. So that's Kabam's play.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I like Jax a lot, but: 1 - I don't understand the purpose of the post. if tongue in cheek, he must have known that at least 1/2 would not take it that way. 2 - As a Community Manager, I think the player base sees him (maybe) as a voice of the player. So, this comes off as disappointing to those players. 3 - Is he really able to write an article like this without an editor or publisher? 4 - Timing is odd it's a holiday weekend AND they have the next livestream in 5 days.

It’s ok to make jokes like that but after the joke there comes solution. So like: ppl are frustrated with bg, Kabam make joke get good, but after they introduce solution to frustration it’s a brilliant joke and big plus to community. Or now AI problems just get good and spend money guys unitman always win, but after resolve the issue. Because the way it is now is not funny it just reminds us of kabam incompetence of handling problems and communication.

Ive only ever really played the very first season. It was so much fun! I haven’t had fun since. I have a very nice account not the best at all. The ai is so different for me vs anywhere else. So I get very frustrated. I just don’t play it.

Terrible post.. totally unnecessary. On the other hand, you can see in your own comments section and in the forums that people just keep blaming the game for their BG losses and are not ready to own up. Same was the case with Act 6. However, the solution is not to put a funny post out but to make decisions using hard data.

We have a name for people like kabam jax where I live and I'm not going to say it on KZbin. The fact he's joking and there is real issues in the game is bad taste and was not a good idea.

I agree with you that it wasn’t very smart to even make the post. It’s not about being funny, it’s making jokes when there are a lot of problems with the mode. I think most people would agree the state of BG is pretty poor right now. I wish this post would come out next season when the deathless piece is locked behind gladiator circuit again. I’d be curious it a lot of folks who don’t actually do BGs would find this funny still.

I have a request. Could you ever so often produce a video on how to deal with difficult BG defenders with non-ideal attackers. I can do Domino with Nimrod but what if that is not an option 🙂 How to make the best of a meh situation with Sasquatch, Spider-Man Supreme, E.g. with Thing I know to limit my combo to 3 or 4 hits to prevent a premature special. Avoid situations where Thing has 14 rock stacks and no power 🤮

Let's gooo KT called me a bootlicker lmao for the record I do think it was a joke for the most part so I don't get why people were so triggered about it. If you've seen my comments on the forums I tend to shit on Kabam a lot and I've been jailed multiple times for it, I'm definitely on Kabam's side on this one at least when it comes to dumb BGs complaints though (not the AI ones, those are perfectly valid)

The post was fine. It wasn't a joke. It was truth, delivered in an irreverent manner, which is unusual for a company person. But I'm squarely in his target audience, with enough self awareness about my game skills to not be offended at all.

People are salty because he showed them the mirror. Yes most of the community is absolutely dogshit in bgs. No lie detected. M1 or higher level is the only place where skilled peeps are at. Most of the guys don’t even play bg because it reminds them Of how bad they are at this game.
