All digimon destroy Algomon from the inside out. Song: "You make it out!" Perfect timing, and not the first time as well. Angemon vs WaruMonzaemon episode has similar great timing for the Break and Chain end of chorus.

I know most people seem to prefer the Zudomon -> Vikemon evolution line, but I just can’t help but feel like it’s wrong. Plesiomon was Gomamon’s intended mega form in the early days of the Digimon card game, and Vikemon debuted in the video games later as Shakkoumon’s Mega form. The same issue applies to Tailmon (Holydramon vs. Ophanimon) but at least both of her evolution paths have been acknowledged at some point.
