I have been using Batana oil for nearly a decade. It’s a wonderful oil and stops shedding and breakage the minute it is used. And it immediately softens the hair! 💖💖 For a liquid oil, I prefer Ojon oil which acts similar to Batana but is liquid. This is a good video! I’m glad to see more people using Batana oil.

Botana is the same as palm kernel oil,used it in 2023 a lot for my hair as a cheap alternative and I can say in thickening it helped!!! Big time the raw dark palm oil itself I only stopped cuz of the dark oil can stain my silk pillowcase but seeing this I’m gonna improvise and make a palm kernel oil herbal haircream at home The benefits are awesome for prayers,newborns,stomach and growth/darkening of hair and skin(moisturizing and removes scars etc) I love it . I’ll put in back in my routine considering how my hair is almost mid back.

New Subbie here!! Great video!! I love Batana oil! I use the jar kind too. This coming Saturday I’ll be at 20 weeks post relaxer! I only have a relaxer for increased manageability not to have straight hair so I only put heat on it when I do my relaxer. I’m just below bra strap but above waist length. Trying to get to waist then tailbone then bumpkin length! I was getting relaxers every 17 weeks which is 3 times per year. But with Batana oil I think I’ll make it to 26 weeks which is twice per year! It softens my new growth while strengthening the hair shaft strands and moisturizes the scalp very nicely!! This stuff is by far the best hair oil I’ve ever used and I’m an old gal!! I’ll be 55 next month! Because of the smell I also put a little Rosemary oil on my scalp too and massage it in!! Great stuff and even better together!!

Oh and it also naturally darkens the hair!! Another added bonus for anyone who doesn’t want to dye their hair or cover gray. I like my gray but I’m OK with this darkening it because it’s a natural oil and not a chemical! By the way, I use it about every 3-4 days or twice per week on hair and scalp as a leave in!! But I don’t shampoo often and Batana oil not only moisturizes but aids in scalp cleansing…..thus the pre poo. I may get the liquid oil to use as a pre poo but I like my solid in the jar for my leave in!!❤

@@dr.sherryleonard-foots4200 Oh I love this!! Yes I’m trying to get waist length hair too. Batana oil does make the hair soft. I just washed my hair yesterday after undoing my twists and I decided to use Batana oil as a pre-poo just coating my hair with it and when I rinsed out my hair, my hair looked soooo defined, I had very little shedding, and my hair felt strong. (Stay tuned for that upload 🙂) I definitely recommend putting the Batana butter across both of your textures and putting on a plastic cap. Although the fractionated form would be good for this too. I’ve been incorporating other new things into my hair care routine bc I’m currently on a 3 month hair growth challenge, but my hair looked amazing yesterday when I washed it!! I’ll keep using Batana butter on my scalp, but the pre poo won me over completely lol. Also thanks for subscribing 🤍🤍🤍, welcome to the community 🙂

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear this. Pls do check with her physician. Alopecia areata can be caused by many things, but the result is usually inflammation in the hair follicles. I'd recommend incorporating food and supplements that reduce inflammation. Olive oil is anti-inflammatory so if she is not allergic, perhaps gently massaging her scalp a few times a week may help. I do have a video on my channel that goes over foods that help aid in hair growth and alleviate dandruff. If interested you could check that video out here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/joa1qqV-r9GonrM. Whenever her hair is about to fall out, you can see a white bulb, and it looks pink and irritated. The good thing is she’s not allergic to nuts. I used to use olive oil, and now I've started using what the dermatologist which is Minoxidil. But to be honest, I can’t trust these doctors anymore due to the bad side effects and hormonal issues. So you can use it in a variety of ways. You can use it as you would a scalp oil (leaving it in), you can use it as a pre-poo (leaving in for a few hours to overnight), or you can use the solidified form as a hair butter. It’s a natural product and you can decide how long to leave it in. It won’t cause damage. When you do wash your hair, make sure to shampoo. Hope that helps! 🙂🤍

Which one really helps with hair growth and bald spots between Rosemary water and Batana oil?
@jessicahensonspeaks
@jessicahensonspeaks Ай бұрын
They can be used in different ways, I personally use both at the same time bc before I apply oil, I spray my scalp with a DIY blend that contains rosemary. The rosemary spray is the hydration and the oil/butter seals that in. Rosemary water can aid with hair growth and scalp issues, but Batana oil can assist with hair growth and length retention since it’s an oil/butter. I wouldn’t say those two are in the same category. I’ve seen results from using both. For bald spots, I’d say incorporate both into your routine and make sure you are massaging your scalp for increased bloodflow

@jessicahensonspeaks
@jessicahensonspeaks Ай бұрын
Hi Jordan, you can use it as a hot oil treatment on your hair and scalp. That I’d recommend leaving in for 30 minutes to overnight. If you are just using it as a scalp oil, you can leave it in until wash day. There’s no time frame that the oil has to come out. I’ve used this oil as a scalp oil for multiple protective styles and left it in until wash day. Hope this helps 🙂

@jessicahensonspeaks
@jessicahensonspeaks Ай бұрын
Hey Fiona, thanks for watching 🤍. I think applying this before working out is great and makes sense. When we work out, we improve our blood flow. Our scalp is porous and absorbs what we put on it so if you mix that improved blood flow it should have positive impacts on our scalp. So I definitely like how you’re thinking and it’s a good idea. The smell isn’t too strong and I put it all over my scalp.

When I use it like that I leave in for multiple days/ weeks until wash day. I have also used it on my scalp AND hair as a pre-poo/pre-shampoo treatment. This I leave in for 30 mins to overnight and then wash my hair. This makes the hair really soft and makes my wash day go smoother. If you’re looking for something to buy out of the grocery store, you can use olive oil, castor oil, aloe Vera, you can put tea in your hair. Theres really an infinite list. Some ppl use mayo as a protein treatment. You can use onions…on and on. There’s plenty of store bought products that derive ingredients from nature or mimic what’s in nature. The bald guy is Dr. Sebi, he was a pretty well known herbalist from Honduras. You could look up more of his work. Batana oil originated in Honduras and I thought why not add the clip. But he is bald lol 😂. But if you look at anecdotal testimonies. Ppl are saying that it works for them 🙂

@@jessicahensonspeaks I hear that it’s misleading if I’m promoting a product I don’t use . That’s my opinion

@@marks9676I’m not sure if he used it or not. But you can use Batana on the skin too. It’s not solely for the scalp. Hair can also be a personally preference. Either way, I hope this video was informative somehow. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching …The batana I use is less than $20. But if that’s too pricey for you and you want to grow your hair, you can always get rosemary from the store for about $2, soak that in boiling water, and make rosemary water. Spray that on your scalp. That’s good for hair growth .
