Our short get away to Batangas got topped off with probably the best breakfast ever at „Breakfast at Antonio’s“ in Tagaytay. In this episode we have another „Nelly’s unedited Food Review Show“ - enjoy :) We definitely want to travel more often to Batangas and Anilao to explore more. Let us know in the comments down below what else we could do here next time 😋 PS: The Beach Loft Airbnb is linked in the description box and we also included a discount code for your next trip 🚗

hi guys! new subbie here. been watching your vlogs for a while now but i only realized yesterday that i haven't subscribed to your channel. you're vlogs somehow helped me recover from my grief- lost my only child last November. all the positivity you're spreading in your vlogs make me forget my greatest loss even if only for a few minutes. it's giving me a new outlook in life. last summer, my husband & i dreamed of traveling as a coping mechanism but since our priority now is paying off debts, we cannot make it a priority & we'll just have to make do with watching your vlogs (at least for now) which, by the way are exceptional in terms of technicality & content. (BS: our son was in the ICU for 2 months before he passed. we were emotionally & financially drained then but we're slowly recovering with the help of family & friends. he was only 5yo) nwyz, just keep your vlogs coming guys! it's helping others in ways you never know. keep safe in your travels tho'!

That footage of Nelly basking under the sun, looking up and saying “life is good” was just so powerful ! Every moment of that was so heartfelt. Thanks for your vlogs Mike and Nelly. I hope some producer there for Filipino brands like Bench or Penshoppe would get you both to endorse their products. Would be cool to see your faces on EDSA! Both of you are not just beautiful outside but you are indeed blessed because deep down you are great people.

San Juan is celebrated everywhere in the Philippines every month of June, don't know the specific date, but it's in June. June, Juan, San Juan, that's how I remember it, and involves water, you'd unexpectedly become wet then you get reminded oh it must be San Juan, you can't help it but participates as well throwing water, or get thrown at with water, it's all in the fun of the moment, all day swimming (in my case as a kid), boat parades at sea with their music blaring, and of course Filipino food! Most times, in our neighborhood there's always someone with a lechon for the feast! And adults drinking San Miguel, tuba, or Tanduay with Coke! Hahaa! :)

My family’s province is actually Batangas, and once the capital of coffee in the PH. Definitely good beaches and let’s not forget my absolute favorite dish Bulalo. Which is beef soup, and delicious Bone Marrows that are to die for! I hope you all get to experience more of Batangas! Brings back great memories of childhood when i was last there!

You should also try lunch or dinner at the main Antonio's, they have some of the best steaks in the world! And their fresh shakes are to-die-for as well (my personal fave is the strawberry balsamic). It's listed among the top restaurants in the world. However, I don't think they allow walk-ins for dinner, so you have to reserve in advance and some of the dishes have to be ordered in advance as well. Quite pricey, but definitely worth it. Oh, and the service is superb. The servers are so knowledgeable about their products and know what to recommend. Sorry for raving, I just miss eating there. Haha
