I wish Batavia VR could be experienced online. I would like to see the old city. Batavia is a love-hate relationship with current Jakarta's residents. Some nationalist fanatics think Batavia is the embodiment of colonialism and the subdue of Indonesia as a nation. These fanatics are most certainly avid supporters of IKN (the new capital city), saying Indonesia needs new history which does not involve the Dutch. Gosh I hate fanatics.
