@iGotTheHookUp Cole usually lands hard tricks in two tries. However I feel like Jamie gives his opponents a chance in the beginning. It would be cool either way. Especially if he comes out bangin instantly at the final match. I feel like Griffin will make it to the end. Originally wanted Giger to proceed but Jamie earned his keep. Hopefully next time they get different ends of the bracket. Feel like they both could get to the end.

In every video I've seen of Jamie - not merely in these battles - he has the most natural focus on his craft, and executes things on a level very few others do. He's in an elite category at a very young age, and he has a very solid chance of taking this whole thing.

Alex bodied Johnny Giger in a game of Skate too. I kind of wish Alex got to come out to BATB as well as Jamie to be honest. But Jamie's Switch game is fine - it's not as solid as his natural stance but he's still got a decent bunch of tricks there (he has switch hardflips & switch Inward Heels by the way), it's his Nollie game where he struggles most.

Surprised at the turnout by Vinnie, just goes to show the downfalls of such a drawn out competition. When Vinnie's game is tuned up he is very consistent and probably could have easily made this an 80+ turn match. Given that people who aren't well off pros don't have the time or incentive to skate consistently year round and taking a month or two off for work/family/injury will show up as huge leaks in consistency and confidence.

I don't think that has any relevance to whether he will be nervous skating against them though. He might still get nervous, but it is on a board where Jamie finds confidence so I'm hoping he'll be fine and just enjoy himself. He has had a bit of time to settle in out there now too but having to be on camera, centre stage, introducing 2 legends is just awkward for anybody at any time (except those showy, ego kids out there who just love the sound of their own voice and being on camera for no reason).
