This is for matching color between images. Not for cutting out subjects and getting rid of backgrounds. You’d need to be in photoshop for that.

How do i set a photo an anchor photo.
@JosiahBlizzard Жыл бұрын
You need to tag them in some way. I like to label them 3 by hitting “3” on the keyboard. Then I edit all images labeled 3. After I edit my anchors, I select all the images (both anchors and none anchors). Then once I open the plug-in I choose 3 as my anchor and it edits based on that. If you have multiple cameras from your shoot, I recommend batching 1 camera at a time. You can separate cameras by choosing them in your folder section in the library module, or by selecting the proper camera in metadata section in the library module.

I believe it’s only a plugin for Lightroom. But Lightroom is built on ACR so I’d recommend just jumping into Lightroom and then taking the edit into PS in case you need to do some heavier photo editing

I love the idea of this but am not sold on their pricing structure - in one month I'll likely need more than the 10,000 edits and in other months Ill be lucky to need 2000. And some months (like December/Jan) I doubt Ill need the tool at all. It says you can Pause the subscription, but how does that work on a yearly payment plan? Still, its a good-looking tool, and I do hope to atleast try it.
@JosiahBlizzard2 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Pricing structure is the only thing that isn’t the most ideal. I am sticking on a monthly plan so I can adjust in the off-season. I used to outsource weddings to a private editor and a single wedding would cost almost as much as the 10,000 edits package so to me this is still a way better deal than hiring someone to edit for you.

Tested this software, and it's not that reliable at all.. It's cheaper yes. but you have to suffer from re editing and color correcting your batch photos again because there a lot of miss white balance.

Been using it for almost a year and disagree. Most of the time it’s getting me really accurate results. Only time I’ve had issues is if I didn’t select the proper anchor images.

I'll tell ya right now! haha WAYYYY Faster, more accurate, more control, more affordable, integrated into LR Classic, incredible customer service and includes auto-straightening and tool replication with more to come! Thanks for the support my friend!
@JosiahBlizzard2 жыл бұрын
Agreed 100% with Shawn. All of those things Shawn mentioned are incredible! One of my favorite aspects on top of all of that is that I’m still in control of the images from a creative standpoint and I don’t have to leave Lightroom to make it happen. ImagenAI has you upload past work and then it creates profiles based on that work and so you’re left choosing what old work you want your new work to look like. Every wedding and shoot is different depending on light, colors, locations, etc., and so creating anchor images from each shoot for Batch to reference means you get to keep your artistry, and makes for more precise edits whereas with ImagenAI, you’ll be choosing a profile based on old work that you’ll have to adjust anyway once the photos are edited.

@@shawnhawkins1703 Hey Shawn! Seems like a pretty cool software (thanks for the demo Josiah). What do you mean by tool replication?
@shawnhawkins17032 жыл бұрын
@@joelkuhn5704 Joel! Great to hear from you my friend! So right now we do gradient and radial replication as well as subject and sky masking. Currently LR has a road block on the auto-computing of the subject and sky masks but as soon as they green-light that we will have it implemented. Right now you can basically replication those settings to each photo in their respective set with one click for the whole album with batch.ai. But manually we still have to auto-compute. For the gradients, it works really well as they are pretty general to the images. So if you use a gradient in an anchor, batch.ai will replicate those intelligently for each respective set! Hope this helps! :) here if you have any other questions!
@joelkuhn57042 жыл бұрын
@@shawnhawkins1703 Awesome! As a wedding photographer, one feature that would be killer is the ability to retouch a person’s face (remove a blemish using the heal tool) across a set of images!
@jos_t_band39122 жыл бұрын
Take good pictures no cropping. Smart culling with Photo Mechanic .Good import presets in LR and you are almost done. No uploading of gigabytes in rawfiles to some AI.
@JosiahBlizzard2 жыл бұрын
I mean if you want to put in minimal work then yeah, do that. But you also might as well just put your camera on auto mode if you want the tech to do the creative work for you. Smart culling is fine too, but what we are doing here is creating photographs. It’s an artistic process and it’s why human hands need to put in the work. I don’t rely on ai or smart culling to do the creative work for me. Even using a good import preset won’t cover everything depending on lighting and locations. We get things really close in camera and we still have a decent amount of post processing. Batch AI just simplifies our process. It’s technology that just allows us to speed up our workflow while keeping our creative process intact. Cropping is almost always necessary with wedding photography because we never have time to get composition precisely how we desire in camera since it’s such a fast paced day. Also, we don’t even have to leave Lightroom to upload gbs to some AI. It processes all of our images in under one minute. It’s insanely fast. Afterwards, we go back through each image and make sure everything is cropped and straightened properly, and Batch accurately matched exposure, color, and contrast from our reference image. Whether you decide to use it is up to you, but I don’t think that your advice in your comment is enough to result in the best images you can deliver. Every image should still be checked and perfected. Just my opinion though.

Hey, ya know, sometimes you try to make a video presenting information in a way that is a little more unique than just standing in front of a camera listing off the features… and sometimes people like it. Sometimes people hate it. But at least I’m out here trying to provide some kind of value to people and help others 🤷♂️
