At 1.4 they have to be perfectly alignet or one will be out of focus. F2 you are safe

Little update: I shoot mostly now at f/1.8 on my 50mm from Sigma. I find it gives the look I like best. Proximity of me to the couple also changes the depth of field and I personally don’t care if one person is just slightly out of focus. That’s personal preference though

I had been with The Knot for many years. One day I noticed they raised my rate by almost 30%. Months had gone by and I hadn't notice. When I confronted them about it they stated they would get me back to my original rate if I stayed and so I agreed. Come to find out a couple months later without notice they deleted my account. They stated I never agreed to the terms even though I had the emails to prove it. I had tons of reviews which have now gone to waste. Their customer service around this issue was terrible.

Thanks a million. I had done some awards presentations after a basketball tournament and the best picture I had of a kid was one where her eyes were closed. I had taken another shot in quick succession after that one where her eyes were open and even though the focus was slightly softer I was able to copy her eyes over and make it look pretty good.

There is a new update to these profiles that render the optimizers obsolete. Download those new profiles or if you just purchased TAP then you already have them and don’t need the optimizers

Normally doing first look, portraits, bridal party, and then family, followed by 30 minutes where the couple hides away before the ceremony and we set our stuff up for the ceremony

Which is why I use Narrative Publish to layout images, download the layout, and upload them to Wordpress. There is the option to host via Narrative, or you can download.

The first 10 seconds of this video perfectly describe me a week ago when I found out that the couple I would be shooting this past weekend wanted a shot of them in front of fireworks at their wedding. I had never attempted OCF at weddings before (only with headshots and studio work) or shot people in front of fireworks before. This tutorial was soooo helpful with my planning and gave me the confidence to try it. I’m happy to say that I was able to get a couple good shots and it worked out successfully. Thank you!

during weddings do you change the scenes or do you either keep it at AWB or Daylight etc and also do you put it on high burst mode?

I’m always using custom Kelvin white balance. I keep burst mode around low to medium burst but typically shoot 2-3 frames at a time
