Great video! Love to see you start checking out 48v batteries. So much more efficient!

Reminds me of the Cyclenbatt one you tested in the past. Capable of whopping current supply.

You're right. The cyclenbatt is a monster.

That certainly took it to the limit. Just out of curiosity, wouldn't that kind of high amp draw testing present a hazard to you and your lab from overheating, fire, or some other catastrophic failure? It looks like you've got some great equipment and clearly know how to use it, but maybe those high amp tests would be safer outside. This is just my opinion, but your process and explanation was fantastic. Thanks for a great video!

High amperage for a couple minutes isn't a big deal. Just make sure your wiring is way oversized. If I were to run it for longer I would take it outside. Thanks for the comment.

It seems like a good test for this one would be a starter battery in a car. With seemingly no over amp protection and oddly how the cold charging protection works it might work out. I'm not even sure how many amps it takes to crank a car engine these days?

I don't know. Probably well over what my meter can calculate. Good idea though.

I misread the title as bacteria power 12V, may be due to the fact I am from medical field.

yeah i opened up my MJBSAN battery and man not good horrible build quality they dont even have that yellow plastic stuff to ptotect the battery and the cells are only rapped once in that blue thin platic shrink wrap stuff and that it and they potted like 25% of the battery so you cant get it out so yeah not cool but it works and thats all i care about
