BATES Family Trip to the Farm

Come along on our 4th of July Trip to the Bates farm. We flew with Nathan & Esther and Mama B to South Carolina. Catching up with Janey and Papa Bill was so much fun! We spend a lot of time playing games with family and cuddling all the new babies. Can’t wait till we get to bring our little one!

❤ Mama Jane removed her hammock before the kids got there? 😂 Glad everyone had fun visiting the farm. Travis’ injury was gruesome but thankfully there are medics in the family. For those unaware, Travis almost fell from a tree after a climbing challenge with the younger men, one of those walnuts I believe, but was able to grab a rope that was hanging in the tree with a disc swing attached. Unfortunately, gravity was still able to make him slide down the rope resulting in rope burns and peeled skin on both palms and numerous fingers. He seems fine otherwise, and in good spirits despite. Katie had to drive back home when they left a few days later due to the injuries.

Who takes care of all the pets when you go on a trip like this one. It’s very had for us. Our one dog wouldn’t survive and the other would do a little better but she’s almost twelve and the other is six and he so anxious and nervous. We don’t have family close by their all up north and we live in South Carolina. It nice to see how all your family get along with so many personalities.
