He really didn't want to do it, and the host was pushing him, it's really not ok. He said in another interview that it was a sensitive subject because he suffered from it in school. This is not ok to force him like that.

To all the people saying he must have an eyeliner tattoo if its not makeup - please. What you're seeing is his eyelashes which are so thick and closely placed together that there only appears to be a black line when there really isn't. It's uncommon but other men have this. All my life since I was a small child women and girls have always commented on my eyes and eyelashes. Though I look more like perhaps I'm wearing mascara than eyeliner, it's a similar thing. And no, I do not ever wear any makeup either (well except at that one drag party years ago...)

Thank goodness he didn't try to rub that cloth on his waterline. That would have burned like crazy! I believe him though. Any woman knows that rubbing the top lid as hard as he did would push the top lid inward exposing the cloth to the bottom water-line. I'm more shocked that there was no foundation on the cloth. He went on television makeup free!

Nestor has dreamy eyes and I feel bad that he actually had to address this. You can tell how red he gets when confronted about it. I initially thought he wore guyliner too but when he has those eyes in everything from Lost to the Dark Knight, I think it’s safe to say it’s natural. The odds of separate makeup supervisors doing the exact same makeup are slim to none. People need to quit hating on his nice eyes. They just jelly.

Really? I think I've pretty much watched every tv series under the sun that started airing in 2015 and before roughly. Nestor is pretty great in LOST as Richard Alpert. LOST crushes Bates Motel in my opinion(and I imagine most who have seen both) as far is it being memorable and having legendary status.

I once had a babysitter in the fourth-grade that for many, many years was only known to me as Eyelashes -- because he also had ridiculously long eyelashes. It wasn't until a few years ago when I was talking with my sister on the phone that we connected the dots, and that his real name was Matt. Not that I ever called him Eyelashes, or referred to him insultingly as such, because that really wasn't my thing. It's just that as a kid, especially one who went through babysitters like a baby goes through diapers from all the moving around we did, it was much easier to remember features than names. But on the real -- this dude has some mega-gigantic eyelashes!
