Ben was in a really low place when he was shooting BvS and Justice League and ultimately felt he couldn't go as far as Reeves wanted him to go for the role without breaking even further. I think you should have added two things 1- Alfred's line "that's how it starts..etc." 2- In the warehouse fight scene, when the grenade blows up and Batman takes down 3 combatants. You could have used it and cut it with the beat, especially the first 3 hits.

This Bruce is more human than previous counter parts, he makes mistakes and DID fall down into the abyss that Batman:Under the Red Hood mentions. He comes back and becomes a batman who doesn't kill again because he found hope again and started believing I'm faith because Superman showed him that people are still good, the whole theme that plays during the warehouse scene is called Men are still good...see why? Bruce is fighting his urge to kill and by the end of BVS he stops killing. He isn't punisher with money, he's a batman who lost himself and came back to being the hero we know. Its expertly crafted and really explores the character in a way that honestly no other batman writer had the balls to explore. It was risky and paid off to people who understand and see it, it's sad to see that people still don't understand the full vision. One day that will change.

The Batman I find most intimidating is Ben Affleck’s. Before the batman was a thing, Ben Affleck was writing his own movie for batman. It was scrapped by WB, and its rumoured remnants of the storyline were changed to fit a younger batman, in this case Pattinson.

Batfleck deserves his own movie. But I don't think anyone can handle the direction that the character was going better than Snyder. The character, the direction of the story and the action were all Snyder. If we are gonna get a Batfleck movie, Snyder must have creative control.

I'll be honest, I've always looked forward to a Batfleck vs. Leto Joker match up. Leto wasn't that good on his own, but I feel his over the top edginess coupled with Batfleck's stoic, brutal nature would have been a good mix.
