@@ajax542 And then put this into perspective - Batman shows up, you're working for a criminal boss, or a boss in some sort of way - you kill Batman when he shows up, that's your objective. Doesn't matter who you kill in the process in terms of criminal bosses minions in gotham etc. You kill the bat, you'll rise in ranks like crazy. Its the same reason why every single person who wants to kill Batman has constant thugs that are never ending. It isn't because it was stupid with the grenade, he expected to throw it unexpectedly and then batman kicked a body at his ass. End of story.

Batman is eternally and tragically trying to save his parents’ lives. Every night. This is the root and essence of Batman: he wants to save Martha, but never could… until this night, when Superman and Lois remind him of his humanity - long gone and absent from this version of Bruce Wayne having lost everything except for Alfred. It’s a metaphor; a substitute to be sure. But beginning with the moment when Bruce vows to Superman that “Martha won’t die tonight,” Batman was born anew - given a second chance to right his recent wrongs and become something he had never been before. This scene and film, man… underrated genius.

The ludicrous "John Robin" part, and he becoming the new Batman, Nightwing or whatever? Or Alfred having a wet dream about Bruce and Selina being together? LMFAO That movie is HORRENDOUS!!!! The main villain is a SIMP and dies as a SIMP cause the real main villain is a bitter woman on her period, OMFG!!! And if Nolan was gonna introduce Robin anyways, why didn´t he just name him Dick Grayson from the beginning? Oh, of course, for the sake of that stupid pseudo- Plot Twist of John Blake being actually Robin... Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are legendary, and their respectively endings were epic, being the second one the best of the trilogy. Rises was just Nolan doing a trash film with warner pointing a gun on his head, that´s why that movie sucked so bad, so I guess if you think that trash is the best Batman movie in Nolan´s trilogy then I´m sure you´re the one who needs to get a better taste in movies.

Batman whilst using a gunmans centrifugal force to aim his own gun shot and killed the the hostage taker resulting in a massive napalm explosion of fire.. Batman saved Superman’s mom by shielding her with his cape from the heat of the blast.. never have I seen Batman in any movie kill someone to achieve his goal.. this movie wasn’t all bad but this fight scene was WAYYYYY overrated.. one of the dumbest scenes I have ever seen in a superhero movie whether it was DC or Marvel

Two things Zack Synder accomplished when taking on Superman & Batman. He gave us glorious fight scenes that are utterly satisfying to watch. In MOS it is such a delight to see well crafted action sequences that are deft, thrilling, suspenseful. In BvS I’m filled with glee to finally witness a batman fight scene that is awesome. Batman fought like a pro-wrestler or Street brawler in every other incarnation (including Pattison’s batman) here Affleck plays batman like a motherfucking demon. I love this fight scene because Batman is ruthless, merciless, robust, formidable and calculating. Everything Batman should be when in combat. The only criticism I have of Nolan’s dark knight trilogy is how limp the fight choreography was. Some of the fight scenes lacked tight, authentic execution, this was made even more obvious when shot in IMAX. Zack Synder on the other hand is a skilled technician when it comes to fight choreography and visually immersive action sequences. Therefore he made batman into a beast. Batman has to embody a supernatural demeanour in his resolve. It’s an act after all but he must be convincing in his theatrics and Synder captured this brilliantly. Finally a batman who’s actually lethal and kinda scary I love it.

At the very least, Batman's cape actually has a damn use. (At least in other media.) It's flame retardant and allows him to glide. It can also be used as a sort of stunning device as seen in the Arkham games. Superman's cape may be indestructible, but it does jack shit otherwise. It's especially useless when Superman himself is basically indestructible. (Not including things like kryptonite and stronger entities like Doomsday.)

Admittedly that only serves to make him more intimidating. "We shot him, stabbed, ganged up on him, tried to blow him up, and he just kept coming!!" Someone spreads that around a prison and those thugs are gonna quake in their boots at the first site of that cowl.

If you watch this scene in slow motion, there is not a single thing wrong with the choreography. No villains dancing in the background waiting their turn. Everything is clear.... Great stuff...
@alexman3784 жыл бұрын
Really appreciated that the villains weren’t taking their turn to get beat up. Whenever they’re all together, they gang up on him, as most people in groups do. He makes an effort to spread them around, but whenever they’re close, they go all at once on him. Makes it a lot more impressive, especially when he’s circled and has to block four guys at once.

I think they should have cut out the grenade guy 'I'll put away my assault rifle, and...here we go...brandishing my grenade - you go ahead with your turn, Mr Bat...oh no!' otherwise, I agree.
@alexman3784 жыл бұрын
M F Well, in fairness, you need both hands to cook a grenade and you need to keep your distance or it takes you down as well. Come to think of it though, this guy must have been willing to kill his own guys too, if that grenade went off, it would kill the others as well.

Something that I noticed is that Batman fights almost completely in silence; he doesn’t grunt with exertion, doesn’t breathe heavy or cry out when hit, except for when he gets shot in the back of the head and stabbed in the shoulder. Apart from that, not a single verbal sound and I love it
@subutaynoyan5372 Жыл бұрын
Movies use grunts and stuff like that for vocal references for attacks. This is designed to showcase Batman coming and methodically eliminating a bunch of people so they really don't use such stuff. Ever watched Spartacus? They just stylistically tried to showcase pure rage and masculinity in their heros with yells with every big move this is the direct opposite

I don't know if this is too late to reply. But the Alfleck's Batman is supposed to be based on The Dark Knight Returns - with old Batman was at 60 years old. There is one scene in the movie (don't remember if that was in Part 2 or 1), one of the thugs said that "he never makes a sound" (or something alike)... to indicated how old Batman was.

People forget Batman's combat journey began training as a ninja. They're trained to do everything making as little noise as possible. Silence is a ninjas greatest weapon
@marauderhealth9639 Жыл бұрын
My take on this personally is, that this Batman lives up to the aged Batman in the Dark Knight Returns comic/movie, where he fights against the Mutant Leader in a mudpit... It's not a battle, or a fight, to Batman. It's an operating theatre, the entire warehouse, and the criminals are there to be surgically taken apart and put out of commission by his superior combat prowess and equipment.

ComicBookCast2 would criticize you for saying that. In any case, it did not work out with Affleck and most people did not like that his Batman is too cruel and murderous and so easily fell for Luthor's provocations without suspecting anything.
