Bath and Body Works Candle Haul

When I’ve gotten candles where the wax separated, I take the wax out and hot glue the wick clips and slip it back in the jar to reattach. That has always worked for me so I could safely burn them. I do keep an eye once it gets down to the point of a full wax pool to make sure they don’t travel but I’ve never had them move so far. Just a tip if you’d rather burn than melt!

Hey, Christy Capps here. Great to see a video from you. You got some good candles. Pink Lavender & Espresso - some people claim to smell the espresso on cold, but burning it just smells like Lavender MM/Paris Lav Macaron to me. Strawberry Daquiri - I like it. It smells like a strawberry lemonade to me and is fairly strong. Among The Clouds - same as you, the scent is kind of blah, but I had to have the packaging. I haven’t burned it yet 😂. Sprinkled Birthday Cake - is strong for a vanilla candle and really does smell like birthday cake. Rose Water & Ivy and Vanilla Bean - is misnamed IMO. People say it smells like a repack of Pink Fairy Gumdrop, but I’ve never had that one. I haven’t burned mine yet. Mahogany Vanilla - I hate Mahogany Teakwood, but really like this one, as well as the Mahogany Coconut. Those notes smooth out the mahogany scent. Take care!

Thanks for the help! Shoot. I didn't like Pink Fairy Gumdrop on cold. I'm surprised I like Rose Water & Ivy and Vanilla Bean. Maybe it's all in my head.

@@ScentJunkie03 if you like it on cold, but didn’t like Pink Fairy Gumdrop, maybe it’s not that. Just passing along what some have said. I’d go by your own nose and preferences.

I've had several times with various companies where I've received something damaged...they never want it back. It actually costs them more $ than to just let you keep it and do with it what you want. Believe it or not, I actually got a chest freezer that way once. I even offered to take it back to the store so it could be shipped properly...nope they didn't want it.

Not to be an enabler (😂) but have you ever burned Fiji White Sands? I’ve loved it for years in soap but last year tried the candle and it is so so good!! Thanks for the videos!!

I can't remember. Was it originally in body care? I know I've had it in some version before and liked it. I almost bought one because the reviews were good, but it got chopped from the list. For now. Lol.

WOW BBW owes me lots of candles. I've been receiving sooo many candles that was not sticked at the bottom. I burned EVERYONE without any problems. In my opinion what you are saying is not correct. Also a lot of KZbinrs said the same the the candles are on to burn.

That may be your opinion, but I am NOT wrong. It's common candle knowledge that wicks can travel if not glued down, which is why they're glued down in the first place. If not, it can cause a jar to shatter if a wick moves too close to the side. I'm not risking a house fire and neither should you. I'm not sure what KZbinrs you are referring to, but I know several popular ones personally that would never say it's safe to burn them. Also, if you're getting your candle burning safety tips from a KZbinr in the first place, you might need to rethink that. Lastly, the customer service representative TOLD ME that they were not safe to burn, which is why she told me to dispose of them.
