Winner of a video, I've been looking for "making scented soy wax candles" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Cenadoelyn Candle Contemplation - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my m8 got cool success with it.

Cheers for this, I've been looking for "how do you make organic aromatherapy candles?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Peyadison Peerless Prestige - (should be on google have a look ) ? It is a good exclusive product for discovering how to make candles for fun or money without the hard work. Ive heard some great things about it and my colleague got cool success with it.

Appreciate video content! Sorry for butting in, I would love your thoughts. Have you tried - Honulian Wiffy Remover (just google it)? It is a great one of a kind product for making money as a candle maker minus the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my old buddy Taylor finally got astronomical success with it.

Yes! I've used nail clippers to trim wicks before. You could also try jewelry end snips - similar cutting action to nail clippers, but with longer, easier to grip handles. 😀

I actually learned on my own to use a spoon (plastic or metal) to dip in the wax & pour some on the burning wick to put out the flame. It helps to not get black soot in the candle wax by pushing the wick in the wax & agitating the soot on the wick😉

I love my candles too, and this was an amazing video to come by! I used to really get upset because I loved lighting candles every evening in my room, or on my desk when I am working, so I would run out of candles very fast. I learned the trick to keep my candles in the refrigerator when not in use, or like an hour or so before use, that way the wax melts slowly, and it burn longer and you can enjoy the sweet scents for a longer period of time. I used this trick and was amazed that a jar that would generally be consumed in a week, took three weeks when I put it in the refrigerator and used it.

There is a WAY easier way to get the left over wax out, boil some water, pour the boiling water into the jar, it will start to look like a lava lamp as the wax begins to bubble and rise to the top, let it completely cool down, once totally cooled (a few hours) you can literally just pick the disk of wax out of the top it is just floating on top of the water AND it makes it perfect to use in a wax melt thing!!!! Also makes it so easy to peel the label off with NO residue if it is done while warm, or you can use a blow dryer. If you have residue or some reason, nail polish remover is MUCH faster than oil.

That was such an informative video all about candles. I learned why candles make soot on the jars, how to fix unevenly burned candles, soak up excess wax and use that, how to use the helpful tools and avoid extra smoke that ruins the pretty scent in the room. ALL GOOD STUFF! Thank you! I do freeze my used candles then pop out the last bit of wax from all, and then melt down the blended mix either with a new long wick (from hobby store). Or I just use the mug/candle warmer to enjoy for a few more hours of fragrance in my laundry area. Smells great every time! Thanks again. Be safe everyone!

I’m sure you’ve done this before but instead of digging out the metal base at the bottom with a spoon, I just put the candle in almost boiling water (like you did to remove the remnants) and once the wax at the bottom melts a little, you can take it out flip it over onto a paper plate and then cut out the metal bases of the wax. The wax can be saved for later use and the remaining wax in the jar is liquefied and can be wiped with a paper towel. This will save you the step of spooning out the wax. 😉👍🏼

Great video. Like the smoke free method of extinguishing the candle wick. I have a drawer full of old fashioned metal nut picks. For those NOT older than 40 yrs old, they were a staple around the Fall/Winter holiday times in the bowl of nuts with their shell still intact. The nut cracker opened the shell, then the meat of the nut was loosened free by the pick. That slightly curved tip of the pick could be used to dip and retrieve the wick from the wax. Because the pick is metal it may conduct heat easily from the flame. So be careful. I coated the opposite end in a silicone caulking product to coat the end that is held. That kept the pick from rotating in my hand when picking out the nuts. I imagine that would keep the heat from being felt on the end held by the fingers when extinguishing several candle wicks at one time. It's an alternative until I can find a perfectly cute wick dipper device. 😉🕯

One of the best candle care videos I’ve seen. Just a couple things to add if I may. When 1st lighting and after every extinguish, if you bend the wicks towards the outside of the glass, it’ll help burn the whole surface to keep from having the tunnel effect. Also, when reusing containers, I’ll put it in a saucepan w/ water and heat it to melting point but not boiling. Plz continue making such great vids. ❤

We all know how expensive candle addiction is 🤣 so getting the most out of them is awesome THANK YOU. PS as far as getting that last bit of candle out I just saw someone pour boiling water into the jar up about half way and slowly the ENTIRE piece of wax rose to the top in one unbroken piece. Let it cool and you can remove all the wax in one chunk in one swift move. Pretty cool. i recently melted leftover wax from two candles and put them together in one jar, i reused the metal base and used hem as the wick, so that's another way to reuse that wax!

I just got the blueberry pie also and it’s my favorite right now, love the cactus blossom also. I have a wick trimmer and it changed my candle game for sure.
