I can't help it. I'm sweet on what Freedom Express does for Coachmen RV. They check not only the obvious boxes you're seeking to accomplish but also so many more you didn't realize you needed or wanted!
This 326BHDS travel trailer does just about everything. It's carpetless with ventless floors, has a taller ceiling & longer bed for bigger folks, double azdel walls, heated belly, wide stance axles for stability, private bunk room with dedicated half bath and a massive load of windows on the camp side of the RV!

👏👏Josh I think that the reason that you’re tripping over the word pronunciation is that you was so excited to video this one, you ran outside without your Montana head warmer on, your brain semi froze, you realized that you forgot your head warmer, ran back inside put it on, your brain was in shock by that time which affected your pronunciation of words😆, normally we don’t like dark wood tones, but with the light wood accent on the slide trim & dining table top makes a big difference. All of the inside gets 👍👍, the outside kitchen location at the South Forty & grill located up at the North Forty would take some getting used to. This one is 👍👍👍 you’re 👍👍👍👍👍. I like where the grill is. It gives you a cooking space and a separate hang out space. Nothing annoys the wife faster the the kids running around while she is trying to cook. In a perfect world a u-dinnette for extra lounge space and a bed slide and oh baby the dream is real.

I don't usually waste time looking at inaccessible (to the essentials) while in travel mode trailers. However.... with the slide being smaller and curbside, it would actually work for us. I love this floor plan! I love Coachmen! I love all the standard features! I would like to have the grill and outdoor kitchen together, but it's not a deal breaker. I'd also prefer the solar package. This just made our "short list" a bit more difficult!! Yikes🤯😳🤣🤣🤣

I love several things on this TT. I love the fact the slide out LR/Dining has the side windows…..nice touch. Not sure I have seen that before. Love the outside hatch doors and the latch systems and how they lock in to remain open. Wasn’t sure if I missed it but the tires…….are they GY Endurance with tpms? Definitely a second AC for the master. The bed frame too was neat how they made side drawers into the frame. The only thing I found weird was the position of the electric fireplace. Seems best to put that floor level as heat rises and to be better positioned for warming your feet on a cooler day.

An awesome floorplan and decor with a true queen bed, porcelain toilets, a TV, theater seating, a bunk room sofa and quality dinette drawer glides. These are some of the standard features that puts this Coachmen RV far ahead of so many other manufacturers today👍 Hopefully soon, ladders will once again be a standard safety feature along with a standard solar package. The only real negative of this trailer is having to hook up to 2 separate sewer outlets located 20 ft from each other😬

I 💕 Freedom Express. I just wish they would put w/d hookups in their units. In this model, I would love w/d prep in the bh closet. In your little camper baby, the 252RBS, I would like a combo w/d prep in that huge bathroom cabinet over the outside kitchen. I love the ventless & carpetless floors, the azdel, the true queen bed, the bedroom setup, the decor, and the curb appeal. Not the best indoor kitchens, but workable. Overall, I really like them, would buy in a hot minute with w/d prep.

Hey josh, another great enthusiastic video. So, I'm here to offer my unsolicited opinion on this model (well, you did ask so I guess it's not that unsolicited LOL). Likes: can't think of one. Oh wait, the outside kitchen has a sink. Though I kinda like (didn't think I would) that mine DOESN'T have a sink as there is a sprayer connection (hot/cold) right next to it and we dry camp a lot so it is nice to not fill the grey tank when rinsing off grill tools or a pot/pan. Plus without the sink I have a lot more counter space. I have a Flagstaff 529RBS. Like the theater seating, prefer over a plain couch. Dislikes: oh man, where do I start. My camper has a similar floorplan but with sides where there are none here. Mine has the door side super slide and the bunk room slide, but also a kitchen slide and wardrobe slide in the master. I don't like how this floorplan is so sandwiched together and they could really have opened it up with at least a kitchen slide. (Look up the floorplan for my model, think the Rockwood 8529BH is the twin, but not sure, there is a twin though, you'll see how much more open it could have been with very little additional weight). Black furniture and cabinets, too dark. The table is nice but the butcher-block look clashes with the rest of the interior. 12V fridge is and always will be a deal killer for me. I know more people who regret going this route and some who 'assumed' they were getting an RV (two-way elec/gas) fridge and are now stuck with dead batteries and spoiled food...even with solar, many people don't know that in reality, they're absolutely NOT going to get more than a few days without having to swap or charge batteries with a generator, so anyone dry camping for longer take note, it's simply not a viable option. And just from the video, it looks like cheap materials were used. Just looks like IKEA put it all together. Summary, it's too cramped and not boondock-friendly. I do love that you show 'road mode' as it is a deciding factor for many. At one time it would have been a deal killer for me too but when we were looking at floorplans we found the perfect one, and the only drawback was you can only access the master bedroom and master bathroom while travelling. Ours is more a 'destination' model, but we accepted the tradeoff and couldn't be happier. Happy new year, always looking for your latest vids.

Thanks for sharing your own take on the good, bad, ugly, and in between! I've seen models like yours from Rockwood (The twin you mentioned), Cougar, Salem/Wildwood Heritage Glen/Hemisphere, and and a few others. I Can definitely appreciate the extra space those extra slide provide. I think Coachmen's idea on this one was to work to keep the weight in check though between the length and weight you still have I feel like this is still easily past that 1/2 ton mark so you haven't really changed the vehicle in the process.

As for the model I have (and the Rockwood twin) do you think you'd have an opportunity to do one of your famous reviews on them? There is hardly anything currently on KZbin or online in general (save for ones for sale with a 30%-40% markup!)? You know people who own a certain model love seeing theirs being shown and I think if more people knew about this floorplan there would be more sold. We absolutely LOVE it. Not from the factory but with almost no exceptions if there’s a ceiling vent somewhere, then you can usually upfit it for a big vent fan

Love the videos and I see this being a potential upgrade from my Sunset Trails 253RB. The only dislikes I have are the TV placement and the off side windows. I prefer the TV to be lower so that it lines up more with normal head height while seated. As far as the windows, I'd like them to be wider with less wall in between. If I can get my wife to go along with the queen bed (10" narrower than our king) this would be an awesome trailer. Well thought out with great features.

As a camper who does almost all my cooking outdoors on a BBQ under my TT awning, I really love the idea on outdoor kitchens. I would, however, probably never use the external grill if / when located up by the front door - useless and ill-placed in my mind. I would simply leave it at home (or sell it on E-Bay) and stick with my Costco portable BBQ, but preferably far sooner have the older model's grill-in-a-drawer in the outdoor kitchen, or have an external hanging grill right beside the O/D kitchen, to use in conjunction with my trusty Costco BBQ A question for Coachmen: Is or could the older model style Coleman grill-in-a-drawer be an alternative option OR would there be enough room to factory mount a hanging grill on the wall beside the O/D kitchen (even a smaller outside grill!)? This may be a redesign for Coachmen to think about. Also, I actually had the external grill mount eventually pull off the wall of a Flagstaff Shamrock and it would not structurally-soundly re-attach, so I am not a huge fan of hanging grills to start will. Everything else is awesome with this TT, as is the review - keep it up - the insights are very much appreciated.

That Coleman grill they used to use is no longer available. Basically since they're not stocking that part now in this factory we can't get it on their campers. You might still see it on a few Apex models, but that's a different shop and a different team. It's sort of one of those things that's more obvious if you ever get a chance to visit some facilities. Otherwise you just think "Well go get one from that other building." When you see them working you go "oh.. I get it.. that throws everything off"

It was just an idea that seemed like it might have worked to get the grill back by the outside kitchen rather than up in the front 20 feet away from the rest of the kitchen. I haven't seen many of them since they were trendy at the RV shows about 10 years ago. Our Jayco came with one that looks very similar to the one on this trailer. We used it once. It's in an odd location like this one, doesn't have enough BTU output to work well, doesn't like the wind, and takes up a ton of space inside. It's been in our attic for almost a decade.

Is it 100% practical no but does it work heck yeah. I definitely like this interior I was nervous when I saw the 274rks this definitely works for me. I do feel a second ac is a must because of the 3 separate rooms and length. I do think there's gonna be a picnic table problem tho as many times we found it doesn't fit width wise with the slide as it hangs of the pad and such. Great unit tho overall👍👍

Question as some just edumicating myself about RVing, can the camp kitchen fridge be used in transit to hold enough for a lunch/snack fixings and beverages for a quick test area stop? Also,in your next edumicating opportunity, can you explain the countertop materials use in RV's? I have heard solid surface (presumably a Corian-type material) vs. the more common other material (maybe called foil sealed?)? Does the common countertop have a greater moisture issue? Is the solid surface a worthwhile upgrade? (I realize it is probably packaged in with other features or as in this case, part of this line.). Just a question I am sure you can answer during a future TV review of one of the models you feature. Thanks!

So it could definitely hold plenty of lunch-stuff, but it's not necessarily running while you're rolling (Unless you add a little inverter). *COUNTER TOPS:* 3 Main Types used: → T-Molded: Has Seams. Water can get into them if not wiped up. Can cause swelling around those seams. → Sealed Edge (aka thermofoil): Made with the same material, but the top layer is actually formed down around the particle board core to seal it from water intrusion. Less costly than solid surface and usually a bit lighter with many of the same benefits → Solid Surface: Actually a high density plastic btw. Shiny and usually "looks" the best. But heavier and more expensive.

Nice pantry storage and like the space and full queen in the bedroom. Thats the best bunk house with it's own 1/2 bath. The main bath is very nice with lots of " Fluffy space" and the shower still a decent size. Like the built in laundry " Handry" the camp kitchen and grill area apart weird but not a deal breaker and the large fan in bathroom is great. I like the drawers under the dinette seats and kitchen counter area for a smaller RV is not bad. But besides thinking they too need to put in a built in slash guard against the sidewalls, frig area etc... And this being constantly said why haven't these manufacturers done this. What is there answer?
