I think B&BW is doing this because of the outrage expressed by customers for overpriced candles and decor. I personally refused to pay full price or even 20% off for any of the “fancy” candles, and I’m sure that I’m not the only one!

I think the 50% off just goes to show that Bbw are definitely overcharging in the first place. I only purchased 2 wallflowers plugs a week ago at 20% off, which I will return. Today I filled my cart and purchased $250 BOPIS order with an additional 20% off. It’s a shame some items are not available right now.

Bonnie, you can return everything and anything that you bought online to the store, even the $275 luminary. It is totally worth the savings to me to return and rebuy that baby.

Hey Bonnie last year someone had returned their luminary to my store that they bought online at full price and turned around and bought one online at 50% off so they got a full price refund on the original. So you can return online orders in the store ❤ that returned luminary never sold during Halloween and ended up coming back out for SAS at $100

They will return any amount of online purchases in store as long as you have your receipt. The limitation amount of $250 is related to non receipted returns. And you cannot return Crocs in store which you purchaed online.

All this shows is BBW sells at extreme markups to begin with if they can discount 50% off plus 20% if you have coupon. It is such a rip off! We as consumers need to stop the FOMO. That way companies are forced to sell at way lower prices and not be so greedy.

This is sooooooo exciting! One thing that I think is worth trying? Call your local store and simply explain to them that you have an item or items you purchased for Halloween launch and paid full price, and emphasize what goodwill the local store would be exercising if they made accomodations this time for either price adjustments or even compromising with store credit. My local store, in my personal experience, is very accommodating. They will work with almost anything, especially if you're willing to accept store credit. It's totally worth calling or stopping by to explain, I've had big success with this. I've even had them tell me to order online exclusives and if I didn't like them, simply return to the store. I am so thankful Bonnie, how I literally ran to the website lol. I wasn't fast enough to get the candle with the globe on top sold out. But I did get the Wicked Van woods and all the other Halloween candles I didn't have. I wish that B&Bwks would give you a huge credit because you spent 1k on everything.😢 I seriously think they did it because no one was buying anything at those prices! It was sneaky. I am debating on ordering the luminary. It is crazy. The website was crashing I was having problems pulling my cart up. I tried to use my rewards none of them worked. 😂

I got Candy Apple Cauldron, Wicked Vanilla Woods, Vanilla Romance, Ghoul Friend, Blueberry Bundt Cake & Solar Shine mists all on sale.
