I love the shower steamers but you should run the hot water first and let some steam build in the shower before you put them in then adjust the temperature the smell will linger a little longer.

These from BBW worked the best from the others I have used. & hood suggestion! I think my water never really gets hot enough or I turn off the water too much😅 But Lavender & Vanilla was pretty strong!😊

Haha yes! I get cold during the winter but I turn it off while I'm shampooing/conditioning. Gotta save that penny😆🤣

So u did unwrap and put in direct stream of water… cuz I’m trying to figure it out. It says not to unwrap and don’t place directly in water, but that is NOT working for me. 😢

You take off the individual plastic wrap and place it where the water partially hits but not directly under since it will dissolve too quickly.

Is there any advantage to this over just flicking some essential oil or fragrance oil onto the shower wall?

I think the main advantage is that the scent is released at a steady rate as the steamer dissolves. However, if you already have the oils as long as it's not in the direct line of the water it shouldn't easily be rinsed away.

Yes. Each shower steamer comes individually wrapped in plastic which you need to remove for it to work.

I would return it if you can especially if it's a stronger scent and you didn't like it. Some people place them in a bag closer to the shower head too.
