Bath Filling - 2 Hours - Sound From Inside Bathroom Cabinet! For ASMR / Relaxation / Sleep Sounds

I decided to record my bath again, with some new mic positions. This one was recorded from the inside of my bathroom cabinet. You can hear the cabinet door closing after the first few seconds and it remains closed for the rest of the clip.

This sound takes me back to a childhood listening to the bathtub filling to escape the world and my worries. Even as a child I worried a lot. This was my moment to cover up in a towel, lay close to the tub and experience the sounds and the splashes of water in my skin. I didn’t know it at the time but I was enjoying ASMR. My senses came alive and I was happy and at peace. I was in my own world. It was so important to me that to this day, at 60 years of age, I can listen to this sound and be transported back to that special place. My own world of watery healing.

Its 1982...I'm 9...I live in a rented house with my mum, the house has nothing in it...its freezing...I sleep on a mattress on the floor next to the bathroom,....the safest and warmest I ever feel is when my mum runs a bath at night...I pull the blankets tight over me...I listen to the muffled noise of the water flowing...the sound of the immersion and pipes...I feel safe... That started the joy of hearing this type of noise forever more.... Thank you for this...I am escorted back to my safe place every night now. Ps...of course I've liked and subscribed....amazing sounds....and for me this is your best as it is exactly the sound I heard those nights....

In 1982 i was 8 and I was making something like you!!! My dear mum turns on the faucets and goes out from bathroom to look for the pijamas and underwear for my siblings and me. I get my favourite blanket and go to the bathroom. Light on a candle and switch off the lights. I sit with my back over the cold tiles, with my little arms hanging over the tub. The water splashes over them in little drops. I’m focusing in the running water. Then it happens!!! Hundred of tingles go from my spine to my scalp and I’m cold enough to wrap in my blanket. Ohhh!!! What beautiful memories!!! So nostalgia…💧💦🛀🥶🧶🤤😴🙌🏻❤️♾️

Not gonna lie, when reading the title I thought this was dumb. Recoded from inside a bathroom cabinet? But when listening to it... just _wow._ Instantly you brought me back to my childhood, laying in the bath, filling it as slowly as possible while the water slowly crept up and covered my ears. It sounded just like this. I used to love that back when I was a kid, it such a pleasant sensation. Thank you very much for reminding me of that!

This is my favourite of the bath-filling ASMR videos. The muffled hummmmmmmm makes me feel so cozy. Reminds me of when I was a kid; my bedroom was directly above the bathroom, so whenever mom would take a bath, the sound I'd hear would be similar to this.

db omg same here! There was a small closet adjacent to the bathroom where my mum stored towels&linen. There was just enough space between the floor and the shelves for me to squeeze in anytime someone was having a bath. I would also grab 2 towels for pillow and blanket, turn off the light and just wait for the water to start running through the pipes! Aahh those tingles!

I’ve only discovered this channel and think it’s fab, I’ve always had a thing about ruining water since I was ten lying in my bed at night while my mum ran a bath for my siblings and this cupboard one is very good although they are all very addictive and saves me having to let the bath run for hours ha I’m just thinking out loud here from my own experience.... my mum would have went in every few minutes and swooshed her hand up and down the bath water when filling to make sure the temperature was right and I always found this added a little something extra to it lol I think doing that along with this recording in the cabinet would be excellent 👌 keep up the good work and thanks again .

Whenever a bath was run I'd lay down a towel next to the tub, fold another towel as a pillow, then lay down and cover myself with a third towel, pretend I was in a cave, all safe and sound, press my ear up against the bath, while blocking my other ear off, and feel the sound of the running water reverberate through my body, sometimes peak through the small patch of light near my feet, like the entrance to a cave far away, sometimes rest my arm out on the cold tiles on the floor or the side of the bath, I await the one who has done the same...

Another thought I had…. I love reading all the details from others bathtub journeys. It’s particularly interesting that so many of us liked being wrapped in a towel. It’s almost like being swaddled as a baby. Or sometimes you put a robe over your body. I usually curled up in a fetal position. Did you? Many times I sleep this way as well. Feels so safe and warm. I felt so good snuggled up next to the tub listening only to the sound of water coming out and hitting the tub. There was a special echoing sound this way. It may even be similar sound to those who listened on the other side of a wall when a family member took a bath. Anyway, It was as if I was in my own world feeling safe and at peace with everything. Every so often, water drops would hit my skin and give me goosebumps and tingles. I was never so happy. And, wondering if anyone ever reached out their hand to touch the cool tile floor to experience that sensation. Not sure why I did that unless it was just to add another layer of feeling something to the experience. Would be curious to know what you think. Also, I liked to reach in the tub sometimes and feel the warm water against my skin. I did that because I love the feel of water almost as much as the sound. Then sometimes I would get in the tub at the end and feel the warm water envelop my body, giving me more goosebumps. Most of all I didn’t want the sound to end. I’m so grateful we gave ASMR video recordings now so we can go to sleep experiencing the watery wonders of our childhood. All of your stories bring me much happiness and tingles. Thank you for sharing and for being one of the water babies in this great community. Would you consider sharing one of your bath stories? Even if it’s very similar it would be nice to hear your version. Be well. 😊

Have you considered selling these in MP3 format? I would absolutely pay for at least 3 of these to save having to run my wi-fi all night, particularly when my ISP gets cranky about me using "too much" data. I need these noises to sleep.
