I saw Damian Clarke this week at the England's Medieval Festival. After his performance we had a short and very nice talk about music and instruments, his paintings and cancer treatment (which is my work). He is a great guy to talk to and great musician. I am glad I got all his albums at the festival, made time to listen to them all and really love them all. Thanks for the great conversation at the festival, those together with the albums are the great memories of my UK and festival visit..

Politics aside. You're allowed to be proud of your heritage. Just don't preach that it's superior to everything else or be a dick to people that don't share it. It's quite simple, really. And if racist pricks try to appropriate said heritage - spit them in the eye and take it back! Which, in a case I personally can relate to, is the case with Scandinavian cultural heritage and xenophobic fascists.. Be proud. But be humble.

There are loads of versions of this type of song. Scarborough Fair is just one of them that became famous. The general theme is Lover's tasks, set for each other and impossible.I like this version as it involves both partners.
