Lyrics For as long as the grass grows For as long as the stream flows And the sun shines down unto us Only they who walks the clouds knows For how long the wind blows And the sky is blue above us I am a man and I hold in my hand my fate Free as the wind as if even I had wings that carried me Still in the middle of the night even I will need light to guide me So I turn my face to the sky from where he with one eye is watching over me My father's gods, I ride for you My father's gods, I fight for you My father's gods, I die for you My father's gods, I am coming through to you My father's gods, I am yours Through blood by thunder [Verse 2] Sound of wings in the air and his ravens fly near to lead me So I will not fail to ride down the trail long time destined for me Long before I was born O, can't you see it is all carved in the tree of fate That a son of the north must fulfill his destined course to follow the bond of blood? Bond of blood Bond of blood Bond of blood Bond of blood Bond of blood Bond of blood Bond of blood Bond of blood Bond of blood Bond of blood

I only recently discovered Bathory. Been listening to them for only about a month now. And they've become my favorite band by far. Fucking MIND-BLOWING. Every single album is pure gold. This album, in particular, is one of the greatest musical albums I've ever heard.

One of the greatest rock bands in history. Practically created Black Metal at least as we know it now,drummer went on to work with Beyonce,and yet hardly talked about.

The drummer you're talking about wasn't on this album or any of the others. He was only in Bathory very, very early into it's existence.

@DeadPixel11054 ай бұрын
Yeah, that's the only issue I have with Bathory. He's very hit or miss with the vocals. Some songs sound great vocally, but then some other songs are like "Damn man, you ruined it...." I just focus on the guitars, drums, and bass.
@GripAttack7773 күн бұрын
@DeadPixel1105 He gets a pass if you ask me, because of the passion he puts INTO the vocals. If he was lazy about it, AND sounded very raw...then it'd be worse. It's like having welds that aren't always pretty to look at, but they're strong as ever, and you never have to worry about them breaking. If that makes sense. My 2 cents.
