West and Romero were friends irl, so it's always glorious to see their broness projecting in the Batman projects :D People say it's a shame West didn't have a chance to play a more serious Batman, but then we wouldn't have treasures like these scenes. 2:00 Has to be my favourite one. I love how Catwoman rolls her eyes when Joker starts fanboying Batman :D When CATWOMAN out of all people is annoyed, you know something is up. Ok, scratch that, "Excuse me Mr White Face, I'm Mr Bruce Wayne" and Joker demolishing Bruce's art are my favs, the deliveries were perfect XD Which episode is that from? I've never seen those clips before.

I love how they parodied modern art - I named my work A dead bat. - Where's the bat? - He died. - That's deeply symbolic. *le blank canvas* *everyone claps* And it was also cute how Joker favorited Bruce, telling him he doesn't need to do any talent tests for his course :D On my way to check the White Face episode now

It always feels like the characters, even tho standing on the opposite sides of law, are pals behind the scenes :D It's like when they're done crimefighting they all go for a beer at the local pub. They're so friendly towards each other compared to the modern adaptations ♥ Haha, I did. I loved the scene when Bruce was pretending to hit Robin but messed up Joker's robots in the process and when Joker called him out on it he was like "¯\_(ツ)_/¯" This is exactly what I was talking about :D It's all so cute

@@ablackdove3169 I think they absolutely knew what they were doing 😂 considering the fact how self-conscious the whole show is. Romero knew 100%, I read some interviews with him how he consciously played the Joker as a gay character and even laughed at how they were trying to make Joker seem more straight with these girlfriends in every episodes (though every villain always had a girl), but it didn't help even slightly 😂

Дааа они такие мужья, между ними настолько очевидна эта динамика, я прочувствовал ее с самой первой двухсерийки))) Причем смотрел в сериале сначала только серии с Джокером и очень боялся, что отношение Бэтмена к нему - не особенное и такое же, как ко всем остальным. И когда посмотрел таки другие серии понял, что НЕТ, ОНО ОСОБЕННОЕ! Рад, что русскому фэндому тоже востребован контент!💕💕💕

Насчет восприятием на слух понимаю, кстати. Самому иногда приходилось раза три переслушивать, чтобы понять, что за слово они употребили. Ибо они часто используют какие-то слова или обороты, которые уже вышли из употребления в современном английском языке)

Golden age Joker did kill several times like in the #1 issue and a couple of deaths later, but there were few of them (the focus was not on killing but on stealing) and in 1942 the Joker changed completely and stopped killing at all. It was indeed just stealing funny stuff :) And I just adore him❤️🤧🥰
