I think the car and figures look way out of scale with the cave. I think the earlier Mattel line might be a good substitute for this display piece. I really like that Batcave, but it just needs a little fine tuning on the scale of figures that go with it. Great video! Thanks!!

I have the Mattel version of the Batmobile and would agree that it is superior to the Mcfarlane, Especially with the paint job ( the red Bat logos on the rims are painted on, and the Mattel version has slighty more chroming rather than just flat gray plastic..plus the doors are sculpted on. ) . Don't get me wrong....I don't think the Mcfarlane one is bad either. If I didn't get the Mattel, I'd still consider this one.

It always sucks to think someone did all that amazing sculpting on the inside and outside of the car for it to be hidden by black plastic. Throw a little paint and all that sculpt comes to life.

I don’t know if you ever thought about collecting 5 point figures or know about them but Mezco has the 66 Batman line in that scale coming in a box set. It’s definitely a niche scale but I’m definitely looking forward to it.

You need to push cave back. The orange circle is the platform the batmobile sits on and is supposed to rotate. The figures are way too big for car. The electronics are much better than the Mezco folded cardboard versions.

Mattel version is way superior. The figures fit perfectly in mattel. Mcfarlane is ok but the figures heads stick up way to high.

Now we are talking Justin! This is my Batman and Robin. This is a pretty sweet set. I do like the Computer's and memory banks. What would have been cool if the atomic reactor had a small light up feature? Overall good piece! Side note :The Batmobile was built from a concept car the Ford/ Lincoln Futura!

I used a dollar store, battery operated, round, multi colored lighting and placed it on the top of the atomic pile and it works great. It comes with a remote and I can change colors and strobe settings. Just use your imagination.

I think most r missing the point on the toys an them being just black plastic an the figs to big...hes trying to simulate what the toys were like in the late 60s as well an the show itself. These look like old retro style toys w the molded unpainted plastics an such.

As a Kid, I noticed right off that my 1966 Ideal Batman playset figures of Batman and Robin did not fit inside the Batmobile. All I'm saying is the Mezco Classic TV Series Batman Deluxe Set of figures with the Batmobile are Superior to Mattel's version. I was very surprised by Mezco's take on the Batmobile. I got it for nostalgic reasons, I have the Batman Playset I wish I had as a Kid..." you got to have a little Kid inside yourself,"

Yes a lot better. McFarlane is terrible when it comes to scale. The batmobile scale is ridiculously way off . The figures sit up way to high. I cut the seats out and the figures now sit on the very bottom of the batmobile. They sit down a lot better but Batman is still kinda high lol

You, made your Dad happy. What a wonderful gift. I'm going to mix the display with the Mezco Batman Deluxe Batcave box set. So, the figures with batmobile will be the same scale. Also the Funko Batman classic tv series figure match up both are 1:18 scale. Thoughts you should know..

I'm hoping McFarlane will go on to make Batman 66 figures that are made like the normal multiverse figures at some later point. I grew up on the show and would love to see the characters with full articulation, accessories etc.

The McFarland batmobile is too large for the Mezco's 66' Batman Deluxe figures.but are 2.75" scale figures and matchs up very well with the McFarland Batcave Diorama. That's the problem I faced, I wish McFarland would have kept true to the scale. Also, the Funko 1:18 figures matches too. Add Mr.Freeze and King Tut Funko villains to the mix.

The orange circle is meant to be the turn-table for the Batmobile. The floor could be simulated by simply painting foam block, a piece of thin wood, or grey foam board or fabric.
