There's definitely something to be said about it. Like it or not, TV and media as a whole are guiding forces to many people. I don't dislike the more serious and dark Batman, i'm in fact a huge fan. But I don't get why so many people dislikes the campy, funny and weird Batman, like this or the Schumacher movies. This is hilarious! Just because this is a different way of interpreting Batman, than we know today with Nolan, Snyder or Reeves, It dosen't mean it's wrong. Schumacher knew this and embraced the 66' Batman's campiness and the comedy gold. I wish we would get more wacky Batman content.

Julie Newmar was great in the part, and, before Frank Miller's version, she was the most vicious version of Catwoman yet seen. The actors who played the main villains were all fine performers and would have been outstanding in straight adaptations of the comics. 2:30 one of my favorite scenes ever taken out of context, the two are being cooked alive in ceramic popcorn makers by what looks like ancient Roman's and their passing the time by singing Bat themed nursery rhymes. It's like a fever dream

IRL Burt Ward nearly fell out of the Batmobile while filming the 'exiting the Batcave' sequence that they always show (well, the first take, at least) because he wasn't buckled in and the door flew open.

The interesting thing is that it's even more absurd in context. The way they justify coming to those wacky situations makes it even wackier.

This is what peak performance looks like. You may not like (or even understand it) but it's true. Grew up with this show, even if i was too young to read the subtitles. RIP Adam West, your's was a Knight that shone the Brightest.

I can think of a ton of stuff that didn’t make it off the top of my head. Like joker calling him “bat-boob” or the Queen of diamonds forcing Batman to bathe with her in a tub of milk on a live TV broadcast… I think the whole show was pretty much an out of context compilation…

This show was awesome. I grew up in the 2000s but i watched this a lot and also the movie. It made Batman fun and silly, which was honestly okay and i wouldn't mind a remake of this show to be honest. I like Batman when it's dark, but, it's a bit much. You can't go too far or kids aren't interested.
