Every movie has its absurdness. Batman 89 - Bruce Wayne swinging upside down like a bat. Batman Forever- Batman smiling and giving a thumbs up. Batman and Robin: everything. That's the movie you're looking for but it's not as subtle as this show.

There’s this line I absolutely love from the show, I can’t remember the episode but basically, the batmobile was stolen and Batman had to run back to the bat cave to be greeted by Alfred and he’s like “Apologies Alfred. The batmobile was stolen, so I took the subway and BAT-WALKED all the way over here”

I saw an episode where the Penguin had set a trap for them. When he opened fire using a hidden machine gun, Batman shouted "Quick, Robin! Behind the Bulletproof Bat-Shield!", which seemingly appeared out of nowhere 😂

There's definitely something to be said about it. Like it or not, TV and media as a whole are guiding forces to many people. Up until the 80s, shows tried to have a central lesson to make people do better. Today, that's a rarity. The difference in society at large is night and day compared to a few decades ago.

I don't dislike the more serious and dark Batman, i'm in fact a huge fan. But I don't get why so many people dislikes the campy, funny and weird Batman, like this or the Schumacher movies. This is hilarious! Just because this is a different way of interpreting Batman, than we know today with Nolan, Snyder or Reeves, It dosen't mean it's wrong. Schumacher knew this and embraced the 66' Batman's campiness and the comedy gold. I wish we would get more wacky Batman content.

Julie Newmar was great in the part, and, before Frank Miller's version, she was the most vicious version of Catwoman yet seen. The actors who played the main villains were all fine performers and would have been outstanding in straight adaptations of the comics. David Wayne as the Mad Hatter was an out-and-out psychopath that rivaled the modern Joker.

I can think of a ton of stuff that didn’t make it off the top of my head. Like joker calling him “bat-boob” or the Queen of diamonds forcing Batman to bathe with her in a tub of milk on a live TV broadcast… I think the whole show was pretty much an out of context compilation…

This show was awesome. I grew up in the 2000s but i watched this a lot and also the movie. It made Batman fun and silly, which was honestly okay and i wouldn't mind a remake of this show to be honest. I like Batman when it's dark, but, it's a bit much. You can't go too far or kids aren't interested.
