'Batman' Adam West previews New York Comic Con

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - The ninth annual New York Comic Con kicks off on Thursday. Hours before the doors opened at the Jacob Javits Center on Manhattan's west side, a long line of attendees waited to get inside.
More than 140,000 fans of comic books, Sci-Fi movies and TV shows are expected to attend the four-day convention.
Stars from DC and Marvel comics will be on hand as will the characters from hit shows like The Following, Game of Thrones and Sleepy Hollow.
This year, Comic Con will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the 'Karate Kid' movies with a special exhibit.
Also, 'Batman' will be in the spotlight with the release of the highly-anticipated DVD/Blue-ray collection of the classic 1960s TV series complete with a miniature 'Batmobile.'
Actor Adam West, who played 'Batman,' is among the celebrities expected at the sold-out event. West is scheduled to appear on the Main Stage, 1-D at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
"People have been clamoring for this little item... the entire 120 episodes of the 'Batman' TV series. It's got all kinds of wonderful strange toys," said West, 86.
