That's very true. I had a dream one time about the Lego Batman movie, but the focus was on freeze. At some point in the story, Freeze touches the glass chamber his wife is in, and remembers with guilt and shame earlier he aimed a weapon at Dick. What I'm trying to get to is that Barbara, the new commissoner, makes a deal with Freeze that if they give him all the resources he needs to save Nora, he'll have to dedicate the rest of his life to curing others of their diseases. Freeze immediatley said yes, because he only cares of Nora's endurance. His life afterwards doesn't matter.

In this case, he criticized Mr. Freeze's life about his errors and told us of important lessons. When we have ignorance, we tend to blame others for our mistakes. Strange was 1000% correct. He does have a stone cold heart. And he actually believes that no one has ever loved anyone the way he loves his wife. Which is stupid, nonsense, and almost narcissistic even. Saving her life is more for his own sake than it is hers
@Spongebrain97 Жыл бұрын
Strange is partially correct but compared to all of the interviews he does, you can hear the frustration in his tone when he talks to Mr Freeze. I think it's because he's a sociopath who doesn't care about other people at all and has no compassion. He's never loved anyone whereas Mr Freeze is the opposite. His whole life he did crimes to help other people whether it was to save animals or his wife. Strange is annoyed by this and gaslights Mr Freeze into thinking he's a selfish person when he's really not. He is a criminal yes but he didn't commit crimes because they were fun or to enrich himself but he had a desperate need to help others but just did it the wrong away. To Strange, he's triggered that Mr Freeze wasted his genius on helping others instead of helping himself
@jordanloux3883 Жыл бұрын
That's actually the angle they play with Mr. Freeze in his One Bad Day comic. It's clear he loves Nora, but in a very possessive way. Almost like she's his property. Still, you see that Nora did love the man under the need for strict control, and hopes he can be the man she fell in love with again

The cryongenic project had been approved by Gothcorp executives, but when Ferris Boyle started realizing how much money it was costing he suspended the project. Unfortunately Nora was already frozen.

admittedly it's quite a spotty story for Victor. Seriously, I think he could've gone to Wayne Enterprises and they would've helped in some way shape and form. Really bummed they didn't write that in, where Nora is magically cured and so is Victor. Would mean the end to Mr. Freeze but hell I would love to see a happy ending for good old Victor and Nora.

Poor Mr. Freeze. All he ever wanted was to find a cure for his wife. He didn't asked to be a villain. He was just trying to save a life and some asshole had the nerve to call him a thief?! Ain't that a shame?!

Its actually a pattened plugin for a vocoder specific to the game. I doubt theyd ever release the plugin’s code/command prompt/settings to the Public. But im sure a talented guy out there somewhere can recreate it by sound recognition, and many monotonous hours of tedious tinkering though. Ive seen it done with others. Like the scream movie voice, Bane voice etc. Some people are so good, they can make an indistinguishable version so close to the original that you wouldnt be able to tell the difference. Hold out hope. Someone will do it at some point.

Still, the good point said by Strange is that IF Freeze had done what he did in the limits of the law (by trying to work with GothCorp, and by asking for help), it would have been faster to cure Nora. Besides, nothing says that Nora will be saved in the story of the Arkham-verse. But if they can do the same storyline the was continued with Batman Beyond (with Freeze deterioring, becoming mad, then being kept alive as a head and cloned in the future), that could be badass.

Damn....I actually feel bad for Mr. Freeze. It wasn't his fault that he was brought into this way of life, he was only trying to help everyone, especially his own wife. But now I am starting to hate Hugo Strange for trying to play the psychoanalyst game on Mr. Freeze.

Hugo Strange makes a good point: Freeze did kind of contribute to Nora's predicament with his thievery. How tragic, though. :(

I believe Freeze just became far too fixated on saving Nora, to the point where it became his one goal in life that he couldn't accomplish and he couldn't abandon trying to find a cure for Nora otherwise she'd die .If that happened, he wouldn't value his life anymore as he failed and has literally has no purpose in life. Nora is Victor's lifeline.

The problem is that Strange listed EXACTLY what Freis could've done to save her that wouldn't require him to become a villain. Instead, he decided to be secretive and making illegal use of the funding. It wasn't his obsession that drove him to villainy. It was his stupidity. If he were truly willing to do anything, he WOULD have asked for help first. I find myself less and less sympathetic towards Freeze because of it. Boyle claiming his wife belongs to him was a dick move though.

Mr. Freeze I see more as a Anti-Hero than a Villain, he shows sympathy as a human being, but shows no remorse to anybody who crosses him.
