It's not that it's made by rocksteady... okay it is.. They lost their ... Game. From epic boss fights in arkham city to disappointing and annoying tank fights in arkham knight. I think the only reason why it's 10/10 is because of first impressions, how these reviewers are fixed onto the graphics and "you get to drive the batmobile!". I don't think they know what an arkham game really is. I'd rather fight Deathstroke in Arkham Origins than in Arkham Knight mainly because I actually Enjoyed fighting him up close.

57GreenGuy Rocksteady shit all over the character of Deathstroke. They threw him in a tank and recycled the same tank battle you already had with the Arkham Knight earlier in the game. I was stunned by the laziness. I think someone at WB probably sent a memo to Rocksteady like a week before launch saying, "Oh, by the way, you have to have a Deathstroke boss fight in the game. Period." And forget about Deathstroke for a second, I was expecting a one-on-one fight with the Arkham Knight! I could've been a little more forgiving about the Deathstroke thing if they had at least had a hand-to-hand boss fight with the main villain of the game who is in the game's freaking title for Christ's sake.

When I saw the Museum (Cyrus Pinkney's Institute), The Old GCPD Building, The Courthouse, The ACE Chemical Building, The Iceberg Lounge, The Church, Wonder Tower, Amusement Mile, Industrial District, Sionis Industries, Park Row and The Bowery from Arkham City when I first played Arkham Origins, I was hit with a tidal wave of nostalgia.

Generally speaking, Arkham City's city looked better. But Arkham Origins somewhat captured the "Fuck this place, I don't want to be here" vibe of Gotham, which is necessary for me personally. I'm still on the fence. I'm looking for something similar to the Gothic atmosphere of Arkham Asylum. Arkham Origins is closer to delivering that, I think. If only it was as detailed and as creatively designed as Arkham City.

When Ra´s Al Ghul was loking for more Lazarus beneath arkham city he accidentally destroyed some structures that held Amusement Mil, flooding the area. As the old Gotham is beneath Arkham city, so any earthquake or other thing could do the same

The reasons that Origins' graphics were not as good as city's is because: 1) wasn't made by rocksteady 2) city didn't have any villains to decorate to buildings (joker with his clowns and balloons) 3) the ps3/xbox 360 were pushed to their limits allowing the player to travel around a much larger Gotham than they did in City

Origins has a bigger city but much fewer details. The only visual upgrades are the enhanced shadows, ambient occlusion, and better physx effects on PC. Due to the limitations of last gen consoles, Origins had to cut corners in details because it wanted to expand the map.

origins expanded the map but it was almost pointless. the second map is completely uninteresting and unremarkable. it’s so cluttered and visually bland, no one can remember their way about it, unlike the other games.

so many people here mix up "graphics" with "art-style", Origins has a clearly different art-style (more cartoony) when compared to City, Asylum and Knight. This can be seen with the cutscenes even being depicted as cartoonish compared to City's realistic approach; same with the character models etc. They are two different art-styles, it is personal preference, both have good graphics.

0:22 the devs got a little lazy here. In Arkham City, the Amusement Mile and everything below it was flooded. It painted a picture that this was once a lived in City, now in its final days. Open world in City was better. Origins was just grey and snowy crap. Arkham city had the Gotham skyline and actual colours and no annoying ass bridge to cross.

No I wish rocksteady and Wb Montreal would have put like the dark knight returns skin in all of the games. I like that costume of batman. Expect Arkham knight, his costume in that game is good.

City looks way more polished. Origins Batman looks like he started a regimen of synthol and graphics are just plain bad, you can see how they tried to use the clouds and snow to cover the city.

Origins has better combat I'd say, (and better bosses but some city bosses are good) and city has the good story.

Origins has hands down better Boss Fights and Gameplay as it adds to what Arkham City has, Story is debatable. While I heavily prefer the Story of Arkham Origins as it feels like it has consistent highs, Arkham City Story is still Amazing.

Maybe I’m just a nitpicky asshole but it just bothers me how some structures have been completely changed in origins. And it also doesn’t make sense to me that the devs decided to make a new gcpd when the same building that was said to be the old gcpd in Arkham city was in the map also.

I know there are many changes because this part of a city was made into the Arkham City prison, but as I stated in the intro there are many changes to buildings/layout of a city which are not caused by the building of a prison like the location of building changing or some building that are there in the AC and are not there in Origins.

Thomas Pieralisi I thought earthquakes are supposed to destroy buildings. But there are "old", hundred year old buildings in City which are not there in Origins.

Thomas Pieralisi for example: 0:45 here the layout is completely different 0:55 here the church tower looks completely different 1:00 - 1:03 the horse stands on a completely different base 1:21 here the metro line is gone from Origins (but I supposed it could've been built inbetween Origins and City so ok 1:42 here, once again, the layout is completely different and the "bridges" look different as well

It would make sense for batman to wear alotta armor when hes young, then start taking the armor off as he gets older because he doesnt need it anymore.

In origins hes more about armoring up and beatingsfkes down....but losing two fistfights with bane made him realize he needs to be more strategic and faster. Once he gains more confidence he sheds the heavier armor for lighter thinner armor. If u notice...in origins you are alot slower...you miss with batarangs...you have a shorter counter window.... and you have way less prowess in combat. You carry more gadgets. In city he tells alfredo more gadgets and armor slowedhim down..so he shed it. It does make sence
