if its any consolation... they clearly only tacked on that ssjtkl is "canon" to the arkham games for money. There are just as many inconsistencies as there are things linking to the arkham verse

I feel like a way better sendoff is to make this his ultimate sacrifice, after arresting scarecrow batman interrogates him, finding out how to stop the chemical attack and going to ace to shut it down, finding the only way to stop it doesn’t work, or is broken/was false, and the only way he can stop it is by reducing the blast radius, sacrificing himself in this scene, without mentioning Barbara or having the joker there.

Something I failed to see as when Batman was getting the final canisters the computer said that the blast radius was being reduced and then said that the blast radius was increased, in my mind I thought the computer was glitching out due to the factory about to explode but I now realize it might be the effects of the fear toxin that Batman is now starting to get.
