There are fans who believe that Cyrus Pinkney became Solomon Grundy in the Arkham verse. Though in the comics Grundy's real name is Cyrus Gold.

Thanks for posting the Alfred conversation at the end. After I scanned the last page I thought it seemed odd that nothing happened. The entire conversation at the end didn't even play for me. I've had the same thing happen with some casefile reports too. It's really bullshit if you tell me. This game has a lot of glitches and it's wearing down on me.

Whoa! What a nice find! And get this! Cyrus Pinkney's crypt now holds the very man who wanted him dead: Henry Cobblepot, ancestor of the Penguin! And the recipe for the potion that has made Pinkney feign death... this must be the same potion recipe that Amadeus Arkham passed on to Quincy Sharp to create, the potion that the Joker can find useful while he is dying from Titan poisoning in "Arkham City"! Nice video!

Amadeus Arkham died years before Quincy Sharp was born so he couldn't have passed the fake death potion onto Sharp. But I think Joker used that potion in the Steel Mill to pretend to be dead while Clayface attacked Batman from behind.

@Mashak He could be since Solomon Grundy's real name is Cyrus Gold and Pinkney might have changed his surname to stop people from finding out he'd come back from the dead. If he is Grundy that means that he eventually got captured and experimented on by Ra's Al Ghul and that's how Ra's managed to perfect the Lazarus Pit because when Ra's first found the Lazarus Pit in the Arkhamverse it could heal injuries but it couldn't resurrect the dead but after Ra's experimented on Grundy he found the elixir Amadeus Arkham had given Cyrus Pinkney to fake his death all those years ago and added it to the Pit. But the Pit eventually drove Wonder City's residents insane and they had to be dragged to Arkham Asylum while Ra's abandoned Wonder City. But since the Pit was still under Wonder City Gotham's citizens were still getting exposed to low levels of Lazarus and the Pit is what drove Batman's enemies insane. So in a way everything wrong with the Arkhamverse was caused by Amadeus Arkham himself which would make sense since this Batman universe is named after him. Ra's Al Ghul can thank Amadeus Arkham for his immortality because if he hadn't helped Cyrus Pinkney fake his death with that elixir Ra's would never have perfected the Lazarus Pit and the Pit wouldn't be the cause of the insanity of Gotham's villains. Even though he's long dead Amadeus Arkham still affects the Arkhamverse from beyond the grave. That's only if Cyrus Pinkney is actually Solomon Grundy though but it's a good theory anyway. Amadeus could have drank some of his elixir himself as well to fake his death and make people think he'd died in his own asylum. In a future Arkham game Batman could meet the resurrected Amadeus himself face to face.

oh man, that theory is so good, if you really got all that by yourself, then rocksteady should really consider hiring you pal ^_^, but unfortunately cyrus pinkney is a different character and got nothing to do with grundy :( , but cool stuff man, cool stuff

Scorpion7XX . Thanks. I thought of it all myself. I know Pinkney is a different character from Grundy. That's why i said if Pinkney was Grundy because there is a theory going around that he might be Grundy and I was answering Mashak's question when he said could Pinkney be Grundy? The elixir Amadeus gave Cyrus Pinkney sounds a lot like the chemical in the Lazarus Pit so there might be a connection there.

Xehanort10 yeah there is a huge possibility that he might actually be grundy, because there isn't much known about pinkney in the past, so it would be pretty interesting if they finally revealed it ,and also the big "weird" change in his personality after he took the elixir kinda supports your theory ^_^

Scorpion7XX . His personality change is because one of the side effects of the Lazarus Pit is temporary madness. So the Lazarus elixir probably drove Pinkney insane.

Cyrus GOLD is Grundy.This is Cyrus Pinkney.In the comics,as well as the Arkhamverse they are different people.

Superhero Fan Cyrus Gold is Grundy in the comics. But in the Arkhamverse Cyrus Pinkney could have changed his surname to Gold after he killed Henry Cobblepot.
