Can I just say it - the crime scene investigations are my favorite part of this game. The way Batman puts pieces together, analyzes stuff and comes up with conclusions is something we don't get that often in the series. Plus, his voice is very good and you just pick every word from his mouth with interest.

Same thing bro, my Batman marathon resumes in 28-30 of december, so i actually can't even awaits of this🔥🔥🔥 Every year i replay all Batman games because of memories and nostalgia and this year in not an exception as you understand. I already recompleted Asylum in the end of november because its associated with my mom's birthday from a 2010, it was a first year when i entered to the net and of course started to find and download new games so BAA was one of the first of them; i remember that day i'm back from the school and then alot of mom's friends coming to us to making surprise to the mom and later even came my best school friend and we played BAA right on party it was really great time. Later in 2011 my mom gifted my BAC on christmas, i remember how we purposefully ride to the store exactly for this game and it was not a regular copy cause here in Russia we had exclusive collector's edition for pc with unique box, artbook, mousepad and keychain, yes im still carry this keychain along with Bioshock 2 and Black Ops keychains, i love this memory too and ofc i like the winter atmosphere, this is the reason i recomplete BAC every year. And also im glad that mine AA and AC copies was connected to the gfwl so now my xbox app can show my trophies i earned exactly in those days with the dates, from 2010 and 2011, it really helps me to dive in those memories a little bit more :)

2:29:00 the lacy towers case and the whole plot and how they showed it and introduced joker is one of the best moments in gaming. The cutscene is just the best scene in the franchise and criminally underrated. This game had the best detective work by far. It shows bruce's genius. I honestly enjoy that Origins follows a Batman that isnt really known to the public, all the GCPD and the thugs know is that Batman is filled with unbridled anger. Ya know, its a small thing, but I really enjoy the random small call-in Alfred does to tell Bruce its midnight and wish him Merry Christmas. And Bruce returning the sentiment. No business, no slight anger for an interruption while on patrol instead of looking for whichever criminal, just nice and simple well wishes from family to each other. Since this is in the stage of Alfred being the only trusted ally Bruce has, its a good touch to give them those small moments and let us appreciate him over the radio.

RIP Kevin Conroy; but I believe Roger Craig Smith can actually succeed his voicing mantle as a voice actor.. It won’t be him replacing Kevin at all; A new Iteration of Bruce Wayne is not always “replacing” having Roger as his successor means something else… like a perfect protege finally embracing the role as the main idea… Roger makes Batman actually really scary despite him being a Younger Batman… like the intimidation is really on point; Kevin’s Batman also has the fair share of good points as well as it feels more veteran and laid back while portraying a more mature tone.

True Story: I used to play Arkham Origins on Wii U, in fact I would play it from start to finish before christmas, and if Cold Cold Heart was available on Wii U i would play that to before New Years. But then I got a PS4 that used to belong to my father, but then he got a PS5. So he gave it to me and I wanted and got the Arkham Trilogy individually. It usually takes forever to take down the PS4 & set up the Wii U to play Arkham Origins. But, I'm glad this game was never forgotten. P.S. I am currently obsessed with this game. Hated it when I first played it years ago, because it's just different from the first two. After the tragedy of Suicide Squad, I, like most people, just started replaying the Arkham games. I lent out Asylum years ago, never got it back, gonna have to go get a copy. Just finished replaying City. Masterpiece! Near flawless. The only flaws are tiny and nitpicky and barely qualify as flaws, but... I am still having trouble wrapping my head around "arkham city" being a miniature city within Gotham City, when... it pretty much had all the landmarks of Gotham: Ace Chemical, Monarch Theatre, GCPD, Sionis Mill. Maybe tiny details escaped me, but, it seemed implied that they "built a maximum security prison within Gotham" when it seems more accurate that they just sectioned off a part of Gotham. It seems implied that people were put into the maximum prison, but, if the "prison" is just a section of Gotham, then aren't Gotham citizens already there? Like Catwoman. We could say she was *put* there, but her home is within the prison, so... eh whatever. And it seemed slightly convenient and convoluted that "everyone" was in Arkham City, even Ra's lazeraus pit being directly underneath the Monarch theatre... eh, whatever again. A "safe house" lazeraus pit? Started replaying Knight and it *was* my favorite, until I realized just how tedious the tank battles are and how "all over the place" the story feels. I always felt like Knight was going to be the last in the series, so I felt it was justified that they threw everything in it and we cried for the Batmobile and they finally gave us a lot of it. Felt like Knight was "for the last time" "one more hoorah" "end on a bang" so, I forgave the oversaturation. Origins seems very different from the rest of the series and I finally appreciate it's uniqueness. First off, it's not perfect and Gotham looks... TOO drab. I understand we need a reason to clear the streets of public and civilians. Blizzard, Christmas, but it looks too lifeless. The sound design is too soft. The sound of the knockouts is too "dsht" "dsht", but Asylum, City and Knight knockouts go "BRsh!" "BRsh! That's it. That's my only beef with the game. The story is great and there are elements in this game that are oddly scarce in the other games. So strange that their are 4 Batman games (in this series) yet Origins is the only one where you can actually go to the batcave! (Asylum doesn't count, that was a safe house, not batcave proper). Origins is the only one where you can actually talk to Alfred! (directly). Origins is the only game with the Batwing and it's a clever way to incorporate fast travel. Origins was also a pleasant surprise, because initially, it was said that Joker was not in it. "Joker is d34d, he can't be in any more games" was the vibe. Joker's reveal and introduction is so chilling it's a little scary. I don't doubt Joker was ruthless in other games, but he wasn't presented in a scary way. The music, the confusion of Black Mask having body doubles, the mystery of who the shooter was in the first crime scene, the random hostage laughing as Joker beats Roman Sionis for "not playing along" Not to mention, right before you meet Joker, the first thing you walk into is the remnants of a massacre. Just a room of d34d bodies that are Christmas decorated. There is even a few d34d bodies positioned to look like a human Christmas tree. Joker claiming he shipped his poisoned bl00d to Men, women and children is sinister, yes, but it's still contained within a line of dialogue and the only consequence of that we see is Goliath, Johnny Charisma and the other's names escape me, but they were fine. A room full of d34d people themed like Christmas that Joker just yeeted seems more immediate. More visceral. Plus, this is the only time in a game, we see Joker use his dying laughing gas. Origins was definitely overhated at launch and I definitely was too harsh. Too Long, understood if not read. Game on, gamers!

At 3:56:48, use the disruptor on the weapon box in the hotel parking section to give u an edge in battle. The funniest thing is the sound of thugs panicking as they struggle to open their weapon boxes to get those guns out to play. And i love it when they panic once I've reduced their combat effectiveness. Fight smarter, not harder.
