I counted 63 punches to Joker's head in a span of about 75 seconds. I did some amateur boxing as a heavyweight. If I took 63 clean punches to the head in that time frame- even wearing headgear- I'd be dead. Joker is superhuman to an extent.

@@tuber138 Not against the Arkham version of Batman, who's probably the most OP incarnation I've ever seen next to Brave and the Bold (an experienced Batman hardly ever stood a chance in a straight fight against Deathstroke in the comics--meanwhile we got a barely-two-years-in Batman beating Deathstroke on his first try). Joker's ability to fight against Batman really fluctuates from writer-to-writer (best examples I can think of are The Batman, Brave and the Bold, his *very* first appearance in Batman #1, and the Mad Love story), but I feel like he has enough stories to justify a final boss fight in the Arkham series that isn't just a one-sided beatdown. No, Titan Joker doesn't count.

It's incredible how the Joker is so threatening Batmans sanity. The Joker's words are extremely accurate, psycholigical attacks and you can tell that they were not irrelevant to Batman when he interrupted him and yelled "You've lost! Give up!" The way I see it, Joker got upset that Batman was siding with society over him. He considers all of humanity to be what pushed him into madness. You know the whole, being laughed at on stage, being manipulated into being red hood, thing. And Joker doesn't know Batman's parents were killed, but he knows something triggered Batman into being the way he is. And of course he blames humanity for it. So when he says "we exist because of THEM", I feel he is referring basically to humanity in general. Basically "why are you trying to save them/side with them when they're what damaged us?" Joker is misanthropic and hates human beings. Batman is the first person he was able to relate to and he was hoping Batman would be on his side rather than theirs. He wanted Batman to feel the same way about him as he felt for Batman. He feels rejected by the first person he ever could relate to and understand. He basically fell in love with Batman and is being rejected and it hurts him.

Arkham Origins is my favorite of the franchise. I really love the story and it did The Joker the best. This scene is the best conclusion of the series. It shows EXACTLY the relationship between Batman and The Joker. For as unfinished as this game felt to me, it had the most interesting Joker vibe of them all. This is a Joker who’s only just started- he hasn’t even melted all the way into insanity and he’s just gotten his first whiff of Bats’ no-killing policy. You can hear the disappointment in his voice when he finds out Bane’s still alive. Suddenly, Joker is faced with a dilemma, more personal than anything. He’s *angry.* All the way up until now, he’s gotten his kicks and giggles out of watching people die, and watching confident men break and succumb to their true intents. The fact that the man before him, a grown man in a bat costume heaving and grunting his way through his problems, hasn’t lost his way- hasn’t killed a soul, *infuriates* him. Every line and action the Joker makes in this scene is an attempt to push Batman to the edge. He still _wants_ to die, the only reason being, he hasn’t realized he’s just found his One And Only.

"That's why you do it, isn't it? You like the way it feels. It's what you need." Yes. He inflicts the helplessness and fear that he felt when he saw his parents get killed. It consumed him. He wants these cowardly criminals who hide behind their corruption, and weapons, and sense of superiority to feel like that scared little child who saw his whole world get shattered and taken away from him. They need to have that despair in their lives. Batman doing that beatdown on the Joker is the culmination of that. Batman has met someone who is so corrupted and set on causing pain and chaos with a smile on his face. His exact opposite. That's why he's going hard - Joker is that embodiment of what Batman is fighting against. At least, at this point.

This is probably the most realistic Final Boss fight in Arkham series ever. In Asylum, it ends up with Joker is using the Venom to make himself to be a giant monster only for us to fight the henchmen. In City, Joker is dying because of poison and he used Clayface as the decoy only for him die for real as Batman refused to cure him In Knight, Batman finally overcome his fear for being The Joker and he's also giving Scarecrow the taste of his medicine and he saved Gotham one last time with Knightfall Protocol from fear toxin. But in this fight, we see two men with no superpowers talking about their ideology. Joker doesn't understand why Batman wants to save him and others even when they're enemies and Batman doesn't understand why Joker is doing this in first place. This is just 2 men fighting each other and finding their true purpose of both of their actions and that's the beginning of their long rivalry.

Just Another Guy that would be cool, but I think this works. Right now all the joker wants is to enable Batman to kill, which is what he tried to do with bane, but failed. He probably knew brute force wouldn’t work so instead he tries to get in his head and lets Batman beat him to death.

Yeah in this game you have Joker explaining to Batman with gun pointed to him about he and him are meant for each other and you get to have a straight fist to cuffs qte with him in his human size and height in a church where in Asylum Joker injects himself with the titan formula and he turn into a abomination rip off monster and you pull him off of the platform with your ultra batclaw where is standing talking to Jack Ryder news report helicopters as he get his long finger nails stuck in the wood as you run and punch him the face twice and fight more repetitive blackgate thugs you fought throughout the game and avoid Joker swings as jumps away and rinse and repeat until he go through the ground, very lame and very boring and very anti climatic conpare to this sequence in Origins.
