Rama Narendra he didn't exactly use those words, but of course alfred thinks of batman as his kid because he raised him and promised his parents that he will take care of him. it like alfred said, "... i don't want this to be your end." the fact is alfred views bruce as a son but he doesn't realize the magnitude of the danger that exists and what bruce has seen. batman has always been angry. plus, he is 27 in this game, and only three years as batman, so it makes since that he has less control over his anger. in the later games he mellows as he becomes more desensitized and older.

Rashid AlOwais It didn't have a Rocksteady logo on it. Haha Idk. I like this game. It was a bit buggy on launch (but then again there's Arkham Knight on PC so...). Oh yeah, no Kevin Conroy. And basically anyone over 14 grew up with Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill as Batman and Joker respectively so that was a turn off to a lot of people.

I always loved the thug banter in all of these games, Rocksteady and WB Montreal both made super interesting, funny, and sometimes disturbing thug dialogue. Personal favorites have to be from the Arkham Knight Batgirl DLC with the conversation about the "Big Enchilada" and the debate about whether the Kraken was a prehistoric creature or a myth.

The dialogue between Bruce and Alfred at the beginning of this video was spectacular. This is who Bruce is during his first few years as Batman. He believes he is the key to ending crime in Gotham, that he is the only thing that will instill terror in the hearts of every criminal that walks on the streets of Gotham and a reminder that if they even contemplate trying to rob or hurt anyone in his city, they will end up with broken bones, a life sentence in prison, and a deep, deep seeded reminder of who is always watching them should they ever get out.

i really like this part of the game because at first Batman is still under the impression that it is his soul responsibility to protect Gotham, and later he realizes he is still vulnerable and can also be taken down (Bane finding out his identity), knowing this he excepts that he cannot give up and cannot defend Gotham without a little help from the GCPD

Those words that Batman said to Alfred kinda hurt, but Batman does have a point on what he said to him while Alfred is in there doing butler work, Bruce Wayne/ Batman is out there helping innocent people, and fighting criminals. Also I was shocked to believe that Bane found out his secret identity all because as Bruce Wayne at the beginning said "You just ran out of time" how psychological is that? but since I have this game on PS3 I love the cutscenes, and action to this this is my favorite batman game.

That conversation with Alfred must’ve been like relapse for Bruce because he was poisoned by Copperhead and saw of a vision of Alfred being disappointed by his actions. Here, it’s real, Batman has regained his strength and his own sense to say what he thinks. It just feels so tense and yet so real.

I'm watching this in the modern day and wow I really miss games being like this. batman does hold his ground but it is in such a manner and way that he's not wrong. Alfred thinks this is all for his revenge and his straight face determination to release himself but he doubles down to ensure that it's not for himself but for everyone else in a city of crime. He is quite literally forcing the batman to be a symbol more than a person that can save gotham, even if he does a bit of both. He takes down the assassins and stops the joker and bane from becoming a huge issue in gotham, and all the while still exists just to be a pure symbol of fear. Watch the batman returns and see what happens when gotham doesn't have a batman. Watch that little beginning period where gotham goes from bad to worse and worser and that is why batman fights, because that goes away when batman tells people that there is a worse fate than a jail cell.
