One of the best boss fights in Arkham series. It's pretty long and hard but what I really liked about it are the build-up and the atmosphere, which is really dark and intense. I think Christopher Drake's soundtrack helps a lot. Firefly was the most insane assassin and also the biggest threat to Gotham itself. He did exactly what Batman feared: He used the civilians to get Batman's attention.

I also think it's kind of interesting how Firefly seems quiet and almost stoic for most of the time you see him, but then once he's burning things he becomes absolutely giddy.

Bacon Gamer Sadly, they didn't. SPOILERS MAY FOLLOW! Firefly is just a side villain who burns down fire stations. Batman must chase him with batmobile three times and after that, he just takes him down. Not nearly as epic as this boss fight. I'm still glad Rocksteady made some references to Arkham Origins in the final game. Firefly is an example of that.

I am just fed up of all the criticism on the Batmobile. I only agree with the criticism about Deathstroke in a tank and Riddler making race tracks, which do not test Batman's intellect.

As much as people like to criticize this game, it still, in my opinion, has some of the best boss fights in the series. Plus, compared to Arkham Knight, Origins has a much better story, focus on gameplay similar to the previous games, didn't over-force certain features on you or feed you anti-climatic boss fights in the 'Bat-Tank'. Okay, the graphics aren't that good on the consoles, the laundry list of bugs, glitches and crashes could fill a chalkboard and the gameplay is a copy and paste from Arkham City, but it's not a bad game and definitely over-hated by so many people.

@Numpteez The Arkham franchise is quite different to Uncharted so I don't see how that's relevant. People point it out because a different studio, WB Montreal, developed the game and used existing assets to do so. This in addition to all the problems surrounding the games marketing and launch led to criticism for its perceived lack of originality.

Arkham knight graphics smexy and the combat is and dlc fire but that's pretty much it the story itself was dumb af making a whole new persona when you could've just did a red hood story deathstroke should've had a better fight and the red hood boss was sadning could've been like the deathstroke boss with the counters plus with the gameplay it would've been heat instead of forcing scarecrow to be a main villain through out ao was amazing the bosses were good as hell and the storyline was better than knight also people act like all the arkham games don't have bugs lmao in all of them you beat the thugs into walls and stairs with bodies flipping and flopping ak had the biggest L on pc it was unplayable for a time with the game not working at all ak had better suits also ngl

Firefly in Arkham Origins is also my favorite boss. I liked the high speed movement in combat, Firefly's high tech aspect, and his crazyiness based on pyromania. I thought the villain style also was designed to remind us about the NES game, but I can't tell for sure.

At 3:13, if you don't Batclaw him, he just does that forever. There's also two more viewpoints that appear if you don't Batclaw him; one where he just sways around. He also repeats the line he says. I did this for 5-6 minutes. Similarly, at 6:25, if you just stay there and hide from the flames, he eventually flies up. I don't know why this happens. But he just flies really high up.

That Firefly boss was easy for me to beat, I had a hard time trying to hit him fast with the glue grenade, and dodging from his fire attacks, but I got the hang of it it was challenging but I gave everything I had. I also loved the cutscenes to Arkham Origins it was a like an animated movie series, but with intense action, and a little emotions to it Firefly kinda reminds me of the beetle from spider-man with some cool weapons, and heat gadgets but with no lasers. Out of all the batman games with batman begins this is my favorite batman game ever don't care what anyone says about this game I love it.

I got chills as well... He contrasts so many other rogues who have grand and complex schemes and their insanity feeds into their plans. Riddler uses his obsessive compulsive disorder to prove that he is smarter than Batman. Ra's Al Ghul's narcissism wants to purge the corruption from this world to create a new world fit for him to lead (from the shadows). Firefly... he just enjoys fires, explosions, and watching people die.
