These runes foreshadow the rise of Azrael and the Order of St. Dumas… Much of the dialogue sounds similar to the messages of the Order heard in Arkham Knight. And the giant statue in the Batcave looks a lot like Azrael himself.

This game was made for people who love the lore of Batman and Gotham and I’m all here for it. It really feels like a love letter to Origins and to Asylum as well. As a fan of the series, this belongs on the mantle with the other four games without a doubt.

​@@EternalPayneIt was pretty accurately rated upon release tbh. Origins at launch was a buggy and borderline unplayable mess, full of soft locks and data corruption issues. It was rightfully criticized heavily at the time. It's only now, after all the patches and updates, that the game is actually functional.

BAV's Arkham City easter egg series was pretty seminal in my fascination & perpetual curiosity for Batman's mythos. I was enthralled by how Arkham City presented this run down old Gotham where many stories & tragedies happened - particularly the ones set in Batman's early years. It's one big reason why I always wanted to explore the pre-Asylum era with more sequels to Origins like this one.

The prophecy of the Order of St Dumas, right down to where the final sigil is found in Arkham City. Pinckney was 100 years too early to make sense of the clues. It’s great that he took them down though so we, the Arkham community, can read and accurately decode what they are.

In a recent AMA in the Arkham Shadow Discord server the devs have confirmed that the Pinkney dates are incorrect on purpose and that they're part of a bigger mystery. We're definetly missing something.

(Oh, and let me also say that the team went through *extensive lengths* to ensure the Pinkney story is aligned with the previous Arkham games, and worked closely with DC on every date to ensure its accuracy). (As our writers can attest, they had to create multiple reports for me to show their math, which I reviewed thoroughly throughout development.) On the surface I can understand why you all worry it's a mistake, but we went through everything internally again last night and we stand by what we shipped the game with 🙇".

Except the made one mistake, the year. In Arkham origins Cyrus pinkneys journal dates to 1845. And he he says he’s about 40 years old so Cyrus would be 10y at the youngest when these logs take place

I had pointed out this to a few other people on the Arkham subreddit but htese are one of the few lore breaks of the series and it confuses some of the chronology on Pinkney, the attempt on his life, and his revenge on Henry Cobblepot. He was presumed dead in 1855 but was still public enough that an expedition could be done to Blackgate when he was 95 and was commemorated after he was believed dead? They also flub the death date for Cobblepot

I'm pretty sure they're two different people in the comics too. In the comics Pinkney is a minor character who only appears in a flashback of one story, and as far as I know, has no connection to Solomon Grundy

Origins created loads of plot holes already. Such as why did Batman stop using the remote claw and shock gloves despite them being the most useful tools?

@@HOTD108_ remote claw was replaced with line launcher which while it can't grab things in a room and throw them at enemies has more flexibility with mobility, you don't need specific points to launch it off of. Shock gloves could be retired for being too brutal. I know that isn't fully explained, but the narrative of Shadow ties into his aggression and learning to sympathize better with where a criminal is coming from, and shock gloves are a pretty brutal gadget all things considered. That's how I see it at least.

Did they retcon Cyrus Pinkney? In Arkham Origins he’s active during the mid 1800s and gets “killed” in 1855 at his 40th birthday. Now he’s doing public expeditions on Blackgate island in 1910 and talking about working with Solomon Wayne, something he was doing in the previous century. Why?

Tbf at another point in the game they say the Ratcatcher was born in 1986 which when you compare with the rest of the series doesn't add up as arkham city opened in the late 1990s which doesn't make sense as this was 11 years prior, just take no notice of the dates lol

Ma almeno è localizzato..meglio di niente suppongo. Da quel che ho visto è decisamente molto bello, sicuramente uno dei migliori giochi vr e non ha nulla da invidiare agli altri arkham.
