I despise Batman more and more with each passing show/movie from the modern writers of DC. Batman isn't a cold sociopath that doesn't trust anyone, even his friends. Unlike now, TAS and even JLU Batman had compassion, trust and while he was stoic at times, still had his humanity and understood people, even to his rogue gallery. This modern adaptation is not Batman, but a slanderized caricature of what haters think Batman is: a cold recluse that distrusts everyone, that has no humanity or compassion and that is NOT what Batman is.

You're not always right." or as I interpret as, 'Hey Bruce, next time you want to ignore someone who is telling you not to trust someone that has first-hand experience, you should probably listen to them.'

He’s a Daxamite. Daxam is a colony of Krypton, and they sorta evolved SLIGHTLY differently than Kryptonians. Kryptonians are weak against the radiation of Kryptonite. Daxamites get an allergic reaction from lead(as in, the metal used in bullets) Being near lead doesn’t weaken Mon-El, but if it touches him, it would be as if Kryptonite was near a Kryptonian. He gets a bad allergic reaction that practically starts killing him immediately. It’s a worse reaction than if someone was the same with peanuts. As long as the lead isn’t touching him or it’s out of his system, he heals up just fine.

Quite impressive how the DCAU has been able to achieve the continuity, connection and coherence across a series of title runs, e.g. Flashpoint, the Death of Superman, the Reign of Supermen, the Apokolyps War, and the Crisis on Infinite Earths. Even to the point of reconciling the early incarnations of the Super Friends and Batman the Animated Series into the final outcome of the Crisis trilogy. Why has the same accomplishment eluded them over the decades of their live action movies? They can have some outstanding live single installments like the latest Batman, the Dark Knight and the first Wonder Woman, but they are stand alone and the exception. Well, in the animated world, DC rocks and rules and we are grateful for it. BTW, why did this story arc have to punk out Mon-El?
