Given Batman’s intelligence, he could try to synthesize a cure for Deadpool’s cancer and treat him. That would earn him a lot of favor. Additionally, Batman could bribe the mercenary with pancakes and chimichangas; Deadpool loves those foods. As for the tank to breathable fluid, the glass had better be reinforced like hell because Deadpool is pretty strong.

A lot of people don't realize this part, actually. His healing factor is artificial, he (generally) can't control it which is why Batman's metabolic assault would be so effective, Wade can't turn it off. If he didn't have cancer his regenerative factor would cause his cells to regenerate far faster than they could naturally die, bloating him until he pops like a balloon, only to reform and do it all over again.@@jordanu6501

He has broken into the prison where Hydra Cap was held (and stole his toilet) He has caused serious trouble for Spider-man in a fight Successfully impersonated Hawkeye to infiltrate an avengers/shield meeting Killed Phil Coulson Gave key info about the Hydra regime to the resistance Killed Spider-man and then brought him back to life (twice in the same day) Killed Doctor Doom (kind of. he put a hole in his head but then found that Death was no longer a thing at the time. But he got the killing shot off) Almost always ensures that if someone screws him over he gets his revenge. Deadpool is a goof but he is dangerous as hell if he gets serious and comes up with some ingenious pans if given preptime

If Batman can take Deadpool‘s healing factor, he can use the DNA to make Wayne tech create stem cell research for helping people who are sick or lost limbs or an organ. However, if any of the villains as well as Lex Luthor, Waller, darkside knew that Deadpool had the continuity, gem they would use it to change their fates from losing to winning against heroes, especially the joker. So Batman needs to contain it. Also, Batman‘s next contingency plan should be about the spot from Spider-Man and his teleporting dimensional powers.

@@jl1399 Basically, it's a trope typically found in comedy where a character can pull something out of nowhere and then return it to nowhere. You see this a lot in cartoons, especially older ones like Tom and Jerry or Will E. Coyote, where characters would often pull a hammer or a shotgun or something out of seemingly nowhere. Use of Hammerspace typically isn't seen as a superpower in most circumstances, as it's primarily a comedic/slapstick trope reserved for works that don't take themselves too seriously. There's no lore reason for a character to conjure a random object from nowhere, the writers just thought it would be funny if they had that object in that moment. Since Deadpool is aware of the fact that he's a fictional character, he's not only aware of media conventions/tropes, he's able to exploit them. He could pull a hammer out of his ass if he wanted to, provided the plot doesn't say no to it. This can be used to explain any thing on his person that either wasn't established to be there previously (i.e. an Adventure Time watch that's only seen for one shot, but not visible in any scenes prior to or after him bringing it up) or setting up a trap which the parts would be impossible to get. TLDR; Deadpool's 4th-wall awareness allows him to literally pull the answer to a problem out of his ass!

Deadpool's arsenal and regeneration goes a bit farther than Batman can imagine. He has access to a teleportation belt. Capturing him is extremely difficult unless this is disabled. Hammerspace was not touched upon. That is an entire thing that Batman will need to come up with a plan for. But the biggest problem is DP's unpredictability. It is well known that planning for Deadpool is impossible. Mental attacks are out as mentioned so do not allow Martian Manhunter anywhere near DP. Only way to beat Deadpool is to throw a Chimichanga next to a naked girl and see if you are lucky enough to get him to work for you while he is distracted. Fun fact too, Deadpool wants to die. He is in a relationship with Mistress Death. And she actually loves him too. So if you can actually come up with a way to permanently kill him. He will most likely let you. (His regeneration is not the only thing keeping him alive. Thanos cursed him with immortality using the infinity stones to prevent him from being with Mistress Death. Thanos loves her too but it is one sided.)
