You can learn lightsaber combat, but one has to be born with a high amount of midichlorians or have some way to be use the force artificially.

Before Disney wrecked Star Wars, Sidious was ultimately killed by Han Solo. He did actually have clones of himself in catatonic states so he could soul-transfer (Essence Transfers) between them. Luke and Leia weakened Sidious a lot, yet in the yet Han shot him in back to save his infant son Anakin Solo. Awesome moment for Han.

Actually, it's a bit more obscure lore but the Force actually only exists within the galaxy that Star Wars takes place in. It doesn't permeate the entire universe. Darth Sidious is not a threat outside his galaxy. Also whether or not Batman could become a Jedi is entirely dependent on whether he is force-sensitive, which he can only find out by visiting the galaxy, and his powers, if he has them, would only be useful in the galaxy. Also trying to get in and out of the galaxy is no small feat, as the entire perimeter of the galaxy is dense with turbulence in the force, unstable hyperspace, and countless dangerous celestial bodies and formations which exacerbate the turbulence and instability and form a barrier around the galaxy. Batman would need divine intervention to provide him passage through this barrier, and no ship would survive the trip, save for a select few with specialized technology and with very skilled, once-in-millennia pilots who know of the few very, very specific routes which exist in especially dangerous parts of this barrier on the western unknown and northern edges of the galaxy. Needless to say, Palpatine isn't much of a threat to Earth, and it isn't worth the effort to try to neutralize him. He can't get out, and Batman can't get in.

Missed something. There are creatures in Star Wars lore called ysalamiri that "absorb" force powers. Basically, the Force is non-existent in the the bubble the creature creates. It would protect him against direct force attacks (choke, telekines, etc) Also, since a force user can't sense someone in the bubble, they can't "read" their moves. Strapping one of those to his back (or two of them for redundancy) could give Batman the edge.

Most of these are great but this one is a stretch. What if old Bats has a mid count of 200 for example? Also who will teach him to navigate the force and how to resist it? Last, (but there are many more) how to counter force speed/scream and a mastery of all 7 forms of lightsaber combat? Palps is more than just competent. He's nearly a god. First of all that force field. Though it may be a good idea to batman it will not work on me. You see even I have already figured out that and how to use force choke that goes beyond any force fields including green lantern constructs as well as to still use the force choke. Using only the vast limitations of my own imagination alone. Using the force choke you are only limited by your imagination only. I guess batman just did not remember to take that into account. Because I can still even pull that off all by my self. And if I knew this just imagine what sidious already knew about this too.

Force lightning is not really electricity. It seems to be electricity, but is far more than that since it is a physical manifestation of the dark side of the force. Even those in resistant armor would feel its effects if a Sith wanted them to. But I seriously doubt Palpatine would even get to that point because, as Batman stated, he has precognition. He would know that Batman is developing a contingency plan to go after him and develop his own contingency plan to counter Batman's plan. What would be even more amusing would be that Batman thinks he could wield the force. He could learn some of the basics potentially, but unless he just happens to be force sensitive, he would never develop enough capacity to do more than amuse the Emperor. Bottom line is that Palpatine would know what is up and probably even let Batman get close to him just so he could see Batman's look of surprise when he turned the tables on him. He might even do the whole, "Oh help me I'm weak, please don't hurt me," before getting another Sith to come fight Batman so he could watch and giggle. He might even throw one of those, "This is not the Emperor you are looking for," lines in just to see how strong Batman's mind is. (Which Batman would be able to resist). Bottom line is that Palpatine would know Batman is coming for him and simply see it as an opportunity to play games and mess with Batman. The only thing the overconfident Batman could hope for at that point would be to overcome his own overconfidence and hope he could turn the Emperor's overconfidence against him (if Palpatine had not already precoged that eventuality).
