Doom’s technology has enabled him to develop time travel platforms and other means to roam the Multiverse, including the creation of traps within all of his known residences that could send intruders like an Outsider-equipped Batman into places like the Microverse or the Negative Zone. And his Doombot automated duplicates have been programmed with enough cognitive connections that they could keep Batman fooled right up to the point where he unmasks them as robots - by which time he’s expended so much energy / ammunition / consumables that he wouldn’t be up for an immediate second encounter.

Good luck. Aside from countless Doombots others have mentioned, I would add 5 points. 1. Don't engage Doom unless you REALLY feel the safety of the entire world is on the line. He is attempting to rule the Earth so pointless destruction is not often a goal of his; the battle may be avoidable if Dooms thinks the collateral damage is unacceptable. 2. He will have a plan for YOU as well. Count on it. 3. Don't engage in combat unless you are 100% committed to the battle. He will be. 4. Unless you have an entire league of super buddies joining you, only engage solo if you routinely go boxing with the likes of Thanos, Doomsday, or Galactus. 5. Before resorting to battle, try diplomacy. Doom is highly intelligent & respects others who are as well & show respect.

It doesn't take long to get random and/or arbitrary for Marvel and DC, and most manga is obviously arbitrary right off the bat. "So, how did Frieza get that powerful? Where's he from? Doom has faced opponents on the level of the flash before, he actually can tank hits from Thor, he also has unnatural longevity, he’s faced invisible woman before who is not visible to all spectrums, he’s easily walked straight through Johnny storm’s supernova level heat, and the fact he might not be even there as he’s known to replace himself with robotic body doubles so realistic that the robot thinks it’s doom himself.

It's a failed plan on its premise. First, Doom's armor being of a titanium alloy doesn't mean he hasn't prepared defenses within the armor to prevent such thing as electromagnetism from working on him. After all, when one lives on the same world as a Mutant Supremacist with the power of Magnetism, like Magneto, that's all the reason Doom needs to guard himself against such a tactic being used against him. Doom's preparedness is almost boundless as he also keeps a piece of the True Cross hidden in his armor, just in case Dracula decides to pay him a visit. Batman also failed to account for the probability of any encounter being met with a Doombot; androids created in the image of Doom himself that're nearly as formidable as their creator. As it is so often seen that there is almost no one who can tell the difference between a Doombot and Doom himself until the encounter has already long ended.

Pretty much correct on all accounts; though what Batman isn’t taken account is that Doom on several occasions has overwhelmed celestial beings and usurped their power. One additional tactic Batman could employ would be to be to have runes of protection carved onto his armor, possibly even the Crimson Bands of Cttoyrak Doom would eventually overcome them, especially Doom is the current Sorcerer Supreme, but employing assistance from Cyttoyrak or even Aggamento themselves in carving these runes would negate Dooms advantage. He is correct about Dooms pride and vanity as that has always been his downfall. I would dial up the implicate verbal attacks to downright jests and mocking (ex: Richards would have beaten me by now, I can’t believe the guy whose homework Reed Richards had to correct is even a threat..etc).

Batman takes this one...but not through his own power. Doom is superior to Batman in every way except the fact Batman has no weakness like Doom has ie. Pride and vanity and the fact Bruce knows who Doom is where stays and what he can do it's all public but Doom Knows nothing about Batman not even his secret identity. I still say he threw the sorcerer competition to get Strange to help him save his mother, as the one that comes in second gets a favor from the winner. he planned to come in second. 3:54 the problem with that question is his response "Who said this is my full power?" cause even the "regular" Dooms out there can drop universe destroying threats they just choose not to, until they have to. and, as others have said, he finally wins more exhausted than he has ever been barely holding himself up, and Doom's mask falls off to reveal, just a Doombot. Doom's forcefield negates Batman ability to successfully use electromagnets on him to restrict his movements. His forcefields have briefly withstood attacks from celestials before so the Insider Suit heat vision mode isn't penetrating it. Doom has an onboard time machine built into his suit to counter act the Insider's Suit connection to the speedforce. His armor also has energy dampeners that can drain energy from the Insider Suit making it easier for Doom to retaliate and attack and absorb the force beam of the insider suit. Doom also has teleporting technology in his suit that would allow for quick repositioning and surprise attacks from multiple angles. Doom can cast the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak to stop Batman from using the dagger empowered with the the power of Shazam, cast spells to provide magical shields that disintegrates anyone who touches them, and summon demons to help him fight Batman while also protecting him from the dagger. Everything Batman does here, Doom has an answer to.

I enjoy these. It's easy to forget that Batman could easily go the Iron Man route, if he wanted to (plus the "dagger imbued with the power of Shazam"). We're so used to seeing him using nothing more than his mind, hand to hand skills, and minimal gadgetry. I never thought DC had an adequate in-universe explanation for this, as would make many of Batman's adventures much, much easier. I also like that he notes the parallels between his own methods and Doom's, although I think he would easily be best off focusing on Doom's psychological weaknesses, which would not require armor that gives him the powers of the whole Justice League, plus a magic item. Having his own nation is one of Doom's best known advantages, but only in his own universe, on his own planet.

It probably should have been Hank Pym instead of Tony Stark listed when talking about intellectual equals of Doom. Tony is A tier regarding intelligence in Marvel, but he's not the S tier that Richards, Pym, or Doom are. As Reed Richards himself put it, Tony isn't the smartest one around, but his ability to multitask at a level far above his peers is what sets him apart.
