For Dr. Reid given that Jonathan still at least in the canon ending of Vampyr tries to hold onto his humanity and abstain from feeding on human blood that could be a advantage as without drinking human blood Jonathan's powers won't strengthen or increase in potency means Jonathan's supernatural strength, stamina, and speed aren't at the level of typical vampires meaning fighting him in a physical fight is actually possible if need be, also the other non physical vampiric powers that Jonathan has are not as strong as what is typically seen in vampires. Plus Jonathan trying to hold onto his humanity means he still upholds the Hippocratic Oath which means when the ill come to see him he tries to the resist the urge to feed on them as easy prey and continues to be the kind-hearted doctor that he is and cure them and heal them of whatever ails them, which means it is definitely a guarantee that Batman could use the fact he tries to hold on to his humanity to gain him as a ally in two ways the first is coming to him as Batman and having him aid against vampiric threats and the second is as Bruce Wayne getting him a job at a hospital and supplying him with the latest medical technology Wayne Industries could offer so he could further his role as a doctor that is dedicated to healing the sick and injured.
