Yeah this is something that always annoys me cuz like if u r going to pin two characters against eachother don't act like the audience is a bunch of brain dead zombies that can't reason, be creative with how u defeat either character instead of acting like their powers dont exist, for example, i've seen characters fight superman, characters than can literally bend reality to their will but they go for hand to hand combat against freaking superman, like why? Just make the sun dissapear or something, why would u want to physically fight superman?

If there's something impossible ever to happen in DC is batman ever defeating the Dr Fate. As smart he is, he can't outsmart Nabu, the Lord of Order. Nabu is powerful, invulnerable, he can't get hurt unless by a powerful magic wielder and smart. And what Superman did, it's impossible, infact it can never happen. The son of Krypton might be strong, but Nabu's helmet is indestructible, just like Poseidon's Trident and Wonder woman, shield, sword and tiara

Neither Doctor Fate nor Swamp Thing can be mind controlled, furthermore Fate rebelled against the Lords of Order shortly after taking up the Doctor Fate Mantle since he realized that the Lords of Order didn't distinguish between good and evil as long as "order" was maintained. The Helm has no more control over him, so Kent saying "The Helm commanded me" makes no sense. This looks like more fan boy groveling to the Bat. Lastly, the Helmet of Fate is indestructible, so no matter what Superman did, he wouldn't have made a dent let alone crush it like a tin can.

2 things 1st magic doesn't get rid of his powers it just straight up hurts him because of the lack of magic defense possibly you could do that to soups with the right spell but at the end if the day most of the time again it just straight up hurts because of the lack of magic defense and 2nd although the helm of Nabu is extraordinarily durable and fast its still a physical object so yeah of course soups could do that even other extremely strong people like wondey woman bane supergirl and so on could theoretically do the same thing

As far as I know, magic doesn't weaken Superman, and it isn't immune to his strength. He just doesn't tank magical attacks like he does physical ones. The term "weakness" makes the effect on Supes seem similar to Kryptonite, which isn't the case.
